The Libertine Lorehouse was still completely empty. No one had put any real money into furnishing it, yet, just buying the actual building - a large warehouse. So, they didn't have much to work with yet. Actually getting the floor plan redone, and the things they needed installed, would be the responsibility of whoever got elected to take that job. Einstein wasn't sure who that was, but there was a reason that was on tonight's agenda.
Einstein had set up a ring of table not too far from the entrance. The tables weren't anything fancy, just standard plastic folding tables. Einstein had set up the exact number of chairs she'd been told to expect around the ring, 7. One for each currently active member of the Free Council, plus one for Damascus, who had been invited but may or may not actually be showing up. She had left a pile of extra chairs off to the side, in case they got more for some reason. Like someone deciding to drag down a friend but not telling her about it, even though she'd politely asked.
But those weren't the main even. Just a few steps from the ring, was a short line of tables stocked to the top with various foods and drinks. Mini-burgers, hot wings, cupcakes, muffins, all sorts of things were dropped on the table for those present to drool over. Einstein was fairly sure she'd have plenty left over to stock the Sanctum's refrigerator for a while.
Einstein put the finishing touch on the setup - putting a copy of the agenda in front of every chair - and plopped herself into her own chair. She'd already set up her plate with food, and she started digging in while she waited for the others to arrive.
