It is a heavy night, a portent night. A night that will decide the fate of the Urdaga of Sacramento. It is late at night now, early morning if you want to be truly specific. Luna still holds sway but Helios will bear his gaze within hours.

The land claimed as Tur sits quietly under Luna's gaze.

Wolves in Black Hunt and Purity before Dishonor will enter this thread directly from their respective threads when prompted by the ST running the thread.

Wolves not involved in either of those threads can already be around Tur or arrive as the others do. (There will be a call to all Wolves early in the thread if you're looking for a specific prompt.)

New Wolves to the venue will find Tur as a result of bird spirits that are aiding new Urdaga to town.

Continuity wise: Everything that has closed before this has happened. Packs that are forming in other threads can arrive here and consider themselves a pack (though those of you lacking Totems are pseudo-packs)

Anthony Ward was the first on the scene. The blur of his Urshul form slowed and shrunk down to his Hishu form as he entered the Tur.

Hoping this was safe enough to stop, Tony finally turned back to Willowsbark. "So, family? Pretty sure Julia's on that." Tony only signed on for old person murder, the rest would have to come from Julia when she arrived.

Anthony feels a terrible presence as he enters the Tur ahead of everyone else. It is a crushing, terrifying presence that crashes upon him without warning. He can't help but be drawn towards a patch of shadow, that as he walks into it becomes larger and larger still. Stepping forth from the shadow is a great and terrible beast, 20 feet at the shoulder, Sagirm Ur in all his glory. There is disquiet there. <<Then you have made the decisions your ancestors made.
Have you noted how things have changed?
Have you moved things to how they should be?>>
There is no pride, no sense of interest, only cold aloof disappointment in the Greater God. Tony is about to answer when he hears a snapped twig behind him, and sees Willowsbark walking into Tur. When he turns back, he is before a community message board, with a wolf paw print on one of the notices that vanishes before his eyes, leaving nothing but an red tack that seems to glow in Anothy's vision.

Anneline pulls up to the parking lot for the Pizza & Panini joint across the street from the Tur. She cuts off the roar of her V8 and exits the Challenger, taking stock of the park. Interesting place for a tur. I thought they all ended up somewhere more private.

She locks her vehicle and crosses the street in to the park proper. Her pace slows as she gets closer to the Tur. There's caution in her gait. Her eyes dart to shadows and the shuffling of foliage, alert - but confident. You can never be too careful in a new place among new people.

Tony was not in a good place after the visit. Shoulders had slumped, eyes widened in fear, and Willowsbark's family was all but an afterthought.

The Ithauer looked at the message board and the tack. A reference to Father Wolf? But why? Tony spoke in a whisper to the message board. "We severed the head so the body would falter. It was the greatest damage to them we could do with the least damage to us. The Anshega were organized and obedient to Grandfather, and they immediately split into groups as we retreated."

He paused. "They already splintered, at least superficially. It's a chance for us to strike back, for Luna's children to reclaim our side of the river. That's how it should be right?"

Tony took a deep breathe. The tack was glowing for a reason right? He was supposed to take it?

    Welp, take it he would....

Slick is visible again by the time she reaches Tur, and back in Hishu form. Her pace is slow as she steps onto the hallowed ground, footsteps heavy. As were her thoughts. The rush of adrenaline had faded now, letting the weight of what had just happened sink in. It hadn't even been an accident this time. They'd marked the Grandfather as their prey, they'd hunted him down...and they'd killed him.

    They'd slain a great foe.

They'd slain another of Luna's children.

There was glory in that. But to a daughter of Hikaon-Ur, to someone who'd always striven for Purity, there was also shame. It had needed to be done, a necessary evil. But still an evil. Not even the Rite of Contrition, which she would need soon, would ease that burden. She could only hope that time would help. And that this night would prove to have been worth it.

By Luna she so desperately hoped that it would.

Her own arrival at the message board comes in silence, just late enough to miss what Tony had said.

Urhan flowed into Hishu as the Tur's growing numbers boasted one more. Spire's Anthem had arrived, and he ran a hand through sandy brown hair that seemed to settle into just the right sort of mess on top. Blue jeans topped by a white t-shirt over athletics shoes garbed the Cahalith as he took everyone in, giving the group a wave as he came.

"'Evening," he said placidly, glancing from each to each.

There were a lot of Urdaga present, a lot he hadn't yet met. What did Mother have in store for them this night, he wondered?

The Beta of the newest pack in town approached the Tur carefully, in Hishu. There were many present she didn't recognize, and only two that she did. She was in no rush to speak to either one, however. Maybe later. First she would see what had gathered everyone there today. She nodded to the others as she approached. "Hello."

Note to self... A Panini sounds amazing right now.

It seemed that the Tur was abuzz with activity, and Jacqueline always wanted to understand and learn more about the Sacramento Vanguard as she liked to imagine it, a rabble of rough-and-ready warrior-wolves ready to take arms against the enemy. She was eager to participate as well, although she was not necessarily the greatest fighter, all efforts must be given to the greater good... At least that's what others would like to say. Jackie was just nervous.

Finding Aryana, she took advantage of the hustle and bustle of the crowd to get in position about five feet behind her Beta, grinning madly. In a flash of cheer, she leaps in with a "Hiiii Ary~", letting her momentum-filled hug crash with a satisfying glomp.

It wasn't everyday that something like this happened. Jacqueline cherished it.

The Cadillac Escalade stopped close to the dog park and two other members of the cities newest forming pack stepped out.

Simon entered the tur wearing just a baggy sweater and a pair of comfy jeans. He clearly hadn't given a single thought. He was quite curious as to why this tur was such an important event. Lots of the people were here. Maybe they finally were talking more plans to get back at the pure and they would be able to take their pound of flesh from those creatures and destroy a few of them.

He looked towards his alpha. "So, you feeling ready for your first stint as alpha between packs?" He knew that he had handled some sort of dispute between Allison and Aryana. But this would be the first time he would have to represent his pack.

Chuck walked casually toward the meeting place. He wore slacks and a button up shirt, that, while simple, seemed to fit his slim build well and be made of quality materials. The Alpha of the new pack was glad to arrive somewhat earlier than last time when they had obviously shown up towards the end. He didn't want to miss out on meeting the members of other packs, doubly so now that he had a responsibility for four other of the people.

He looked to his long time friend as he asked the question. It was a fair one that he answered honestly. "I wish that I could be more prepared, have more information before tackling this particular set of unknowns. But as you know sometimes you have to work with the data sets you have and correct your hypotheses as you go." It wasn't strictly the scientific method that they followed, but the study of business was full of unknowns.

As they approached and he saw Jacqueline fling herself at Aryana he quirked an eyebrow at her manner.

"Ary, Jacki." He greeted them simply before standing straight and looking around at the other Uratha present and wondering who it would be wise to talk to first.
