"That's the intent," Avis replied to Ermon. She could elaborate, on all the ways in which it was, actually, like Fort Knox, but that was only for Talons to know. The other Orders, well, other Magi, they'd only be here if the Talons were there to welcome them in. That was all they needed to know.
Thankfully, Gyges directed them back onto more helpful topics. Specifically, the topic at hand.
"Well, that's the thing, Gyges. We get to decided that now." Eyes flickered over to Aquinas, then away. "In my opinion, the only Just way to treat the charter is as laws for each individual Magi in the city. So, that means everyone that's recognized gets the same rights, same everything, as everyone else that's recognized. Well, except for people with positions, but, um, that's obvious. Or, on top of what everyone has, I mean. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that the individual should be granted rights. If a cabal has a problem with a solitary mage, well, that's multiple individuals against one, so that one is going to lose. It's a non-issue. There's no reason not to allow everyone to be equal. No reason but wanting to oppress people."
