(2015) Verdant Meeting

"Fare thee well, Kyle," Coco called after the retreating singer. She sank slightly deeper into the water, attempting to relax again after that glimpse of the horrid glimpse of the vow's wrath. Such a fate was cruel, and the memory of it would keep her lips sealed just as effectively as the knowledge that all the Lost would come to hate her if she ever broke a pledge. Nevertheless, she was in a hot tub with friends, and the Queen(!), and such would hopefully distract her until her charge chose to exit the gathering.

Coco will exit when Leblanc does.

Lynn waved her fingers at Kyle as he left. He was right in that this was going to be a very interesting and challenging mission that that they had all taken on. Still, it was time that she became something more than the twisted joke that her Keeper had created. She wasn't not strong, or fast or overly skilled in anything other than musically, but this she could do. She could help the others of this Freehold that had taken her in.

And also at this moment, none of them had anything else to nibble on. Lynn slipped carefully out of the water, trying not to splash anybody else. She measured the distance over to the buffet table by eye, but it was too far for her to go without the fiddle. She slung it over one shoulder absently and quickly filled a plate full of nibbles, shivering a bit in the suddenly cold air. Crossing back over to the tub, Lynn gratefully slipped back into the water and shared the plate with anybody who looked interested.

Lynn will hang out and chat with the rest of the group for a while longer, but doesn't have any business that needs to be addressed.

The Queen stepped out of the Jacuzzi, grabbing a towel from the side. “Thank you all for attending this evening. There are items that Mrs. Rosemary and I need to order before our Coronation begins and I shouldn’t delay.”*

“Please, feel free to stay and enjoy the hot tub at your leisure for the remainder of the evening.” Wrapping the towel about her, Violet made her way inside to meet with Mrs. Rosemary for matters of planning and to hear what her meeting with Mary Lee entailed.
