(1410) Crowley, Striker and Faye

[Teeramus]

"Yeah Weave's just moved out of the uni now that things are hotting up there." Striker added.

"Halloween ay?" he said realising that it must be soon. "It's not that much of a deal in 'Straya. What sorta things do yous get up to here?" the Australian asked.

[Teeramus]

Before Striker's question could get a response he heard Pepper start talking about their recent endeavour and he cocked his head to the side listening to hear if he was needed for anything. As he listened his expression went from interest through surprise and settled on glowering annoyance.

Striker's attention returns to the main thread unfortunately.

[Aurora]

She was about to answer Striker when she noticed his attention elsewhere. Then before she knew it, he was addressing what was going on.

Something about someone casting Vulgar magic in front of a Sleeper, big no-no. Then Star, bringing up what happened in the park! Wow! Way to shift attention to someone else. The rules and Laws were in place for a reason, so it needed to be addressed.

Then Jonokuchi spoke, about Striker seriously hurting others? Huh? Obviously she missed something somewhere.

Blue eyes look to Crowley, "Do you know what is going on?" she asked quietly, curious. "I get the whole Vulgar thing, but what's with the finger pointing?"

[Crowley]

"Halloween... haven't thought about it much... I dunno yet. Might be out of town. Got some people to see and its... appropriate." The Acanthus looked like he was about to say something more, but Striker shot off on his mission.

The Herald watched him go. Dragged back to the conversation, he turned to Faye and shrugged.

"I have absolutely no idea... Vulgar? Yeah... well... you know. I guess it depends. Its a big risk and its not something one should do lightly. But there are times... you know? And sometimes, its not like the muggles mind. But you gotta be in the right place and the right time for that to work. You feel me?"

He turned back to where the altercation was taking place, trying to follow events as they happened.

[Aurora]

Her eyes move from person to person as each spoke.

Why was Star bringing something up that happened months ago?

"Oh, I understand. Vulgar magic should not be thrown around on a whim. There is a time and a place for it, and sometimes that time is when survival is on the line." she hated vulgar magic, the universe always seemed to know when she used it, and it usually cost her dearly.

She absently chewed on her bottom lip, attention back on what was going on. While she was there that day at the park, she didn't remember any vulgar magic being thrown around.

"Unfortunately, there are always consequences for our actions. Be it the community or the universe."

[Crowley]

Crowley continued to watch the to-and-fro where the "Council" sat with an eyebrow slowly rising as the robust discussions continued. And continued.

"Well... I"m glad they're being open and transparent about it at least," he commented after a while. "Hey, you think i should go up there and help them calm down? Or just look for popcorn?"

He flashed a grin.

[Aurora]

This is not the way for the council to conduct themselves she thinks sadly.

Shaking her head, “There should not be this much bickering and fighting amongst our leaders.” She says, a hint of disappointment in her voice.

His grin caused her to smile as she thinks over his question.

“Well…there is that old saying about too many cooks stirring the pot.” She replies, “Unless you think you can get everyone to stop arguing.” She replies with a shrug, “And popcorn is mighty tempting.” She says with a smile.

[Teeramus]

"Jeez I'm glad they're finally gettin' organised." Striker said to the other two mages as he turned back, annoyance fading from his expression.

[Crowley]

"We were going to look for popcorn..." Crowley offered. He tried deadpan but while he wasn't smiling, a grin glowed on his features.
