Dreams, Dark and Dire 3

The Worm things break off into two groups, one batch forming a semi-circle around the Kindred grouping at the entrance to the Avalon, the others circling around those vampires not yet having gotten there. It is clear they are trying to cut these two groups off from each other, even as the rain continues to fall and more of the worms wrap around each other, forming gradually more humanoid forms.

Forming themselves into these groups, the wriggling monstrosities wait, ready to attack in unison, or to counter-attack if attacked.

currently there are four closing in around the Avalon and seven roughly circled around those vampires not yet there.

Seeing the wriggling things start to develop tactics beyond simple bestial attacks, Obsidian sprints to the doors of the Avalon.

[Ishani]

Ishani turns to O-Yama, a sad look coming across her features. "I am truly sorry my friend but it is time to wake up. I promise, we will find you."

Then, she sprints to the Avalon with all the speed she can muster.

As Obsidian, Ishani and Markos break away and sprint toward the Avalon, the creatures trying to encircle them reach out toward them.

For the characters listed above, and those making a break for it at this point, please specify if you are going to do a full run (which will get you to the Avalon), a movement action along with Celerity (for those who have it, which will also get you to the Avalon, with or without taking another action) or a movement action while taking defensive action (Dodge, etc., which will get you partway there).

The writhing creatures strike out at Mark and Ishani, their limbs extending longer than would be the case were they creatures of normal flesh and bone. Both are struck, and while the strikes themselves do little, each leaves behind a number of crawling, writhing, biting worms. Even as the vampires run, dodging past more of the creatures, the red-black worms - ranging in length from less than an inch to as much as six inches - start to bite and, after opening wounds, attempt to push their way under the skin.

Ishani and Mark each take two bashing damage this turn. Both make it to the other vampires in/around the Avalon.

Ishani immediately begins to pull the worms off of her. She tries to get them all, tearing at her clothing should they go underneath and into it. If one of the worms should make it under her skin, she will use her knife to cut it out.
