Pepper glanced around, hoping that things had been sorted out, then nodded to Nous.

"Nope." The Acanthus pursed his lips and shook his head. Once. "We haven't had much chance to talk really. I've been trying to build some useful contacts and establish a means to drop coded messages all over town... I think the Boss has been busy contacting all the work groups... Cabals! That sort of thing."
He scratched at his head, eyes suddenly narrowing. "You think it needs to be bought up?"
I am not a spook! Let the Guardian's do it if they want to. Its a free country! Thoughts bubbled through his mind, hot and spiced with a flare of anger.
