Having sent a message and received a response, Circe awaits the arrival of Obsidian, and hopefully Dirge as well. While waiting, she continues toiling away in the living room of the farmhouse on her property, which she has transformed into a workshop. At the moment, she is working on masks some wooden masks. Several masks hang along the walls already. Other works in progress include a painting depicting Persephone in the Underworld and two small, half-finished marble scupltures depicting goddess figures.
Circe works in the nude. Her ghouled serpent is coiled on a nearby table, while her ghouled wolf is watchful by the door. One of her pair of homunculi sits atop a bookshelf, motionless as a church gargoyle, while the other clambers about on the front porch.
