As the brisk winds of Autumn replace the warm breezes of Summer, a large tent is erected in the back yard of Edna's Boarding House. A pretty, but rather oily blightbent sits at a folding table beside the wide flaps that mark the entrance to the tent. She introduces herself as Emma, and puts her greasy iPhone down long enough to tell each attendee to close their eyes when they walk through the flaps and repeat the phrase, I reap what I sow. This odd combination must be the key to the temporarily erected hedge gate, for when each changeling follows these directions, they find themselves stepping out of the mundane world and into the expansive garden hollow of the Autumn Court. Amid the colorful flora, a large stone table in the center has been set up with a wholesome assortment of baked goods and fresh goblin fruit. At one end of the table, there is even a clear punch bowl filled with a chilled, blood red liquid. Some of the exotic plants growing within the walled hedge garden are still heavily laden with fruit, while others are already casting their multicolored leaves to the ground. Tables and chairs have been set up around the hollow, and there are even a few display tables reserved for those who have chosen to offer goods or services at the Fallen Fair. The Autumn Queen, Betony Rue Jasons, can be seen fussing with a few knitted items on one of the tables as mysterious candle flames burn in a circle around her head.
