The metalflesh smirks at his fellow elemental's confession and gives him a shrug.
"No worries... klepto. Besides, it looks like there are six of us, so they're aren't enough to go around."
However, Marcus gets a serious look on his face for a moment before he continues. Lucas' words about someone having your back resonate more than the summer king could ever know.
"Gone off Ninja Turtles... Lyle's growing up so fast, isn't he?"
Deep down, the elemental knows that's an incredibly good thing. After all, it's a hell of a lot better than Lyle staying a child forever... Over There... or coming back like his dad... or Marcus. But that hadn't happened, in part because the metalflesh had been watching the back of his fellow courtiers. It had even been worth taking that bullet to make sure The Ear didn't get ahold of the kid. But, it still doesn't keep Marcus from suddenly feeling very old. However, his shiny head snaps up when Krumm voices his opinion and the elemental nods enthusiastically to the ogre's suggestion.
"Good idea. Playground style sounds good to me. Shirts and skins, then?"
Looking around at the others, Marcus shrugs when he notices the distinct lack of enthusiasm from two of the attendees. Mal must be sulking from that little fight with her new boyfriend earlier. And Justin, well, the kid did seem to just space out an awful lot. Maybe they both just had too much to eat... Deciding to simply let the two of them sit this one out, the metalflesh calls dibs on the summer king before waiting on Duncan to make his first pick. Soon enough, Marcus, Lucas, and Jeffrey are standing toe to toe with Duncan, Krumm, and Tony. Holding the ball out in front of him, the organizer of this weird game speaks slow, deliberate words as his steely gaze sweeps over them.
"We vow to obey the ever-changing laws of the Calvinball and to never utter the same rule twice while holding it. Each of us will stake a bit of our own glamour to reward victory, and to the winners go the spoils. May the best team win. Now place your hand on the Calvinball if you agree to these terms."
Marcus will spend 1 Willpower to seal the pledge after the last person places his hand on the ball. No one else needs to spend any WP, but they must spend 1 Glamour to join the pledge and play Calvinball.
