It had taken a few days to settle after the aborted raid and scout out a suitable locus, but the pack was once again spirit-side. A feral grin flicks across Firebringer's Urshul muzzle as a group of spirits scatters away from the pack, but experience tells him that this realm holds many with both the will and capability to tear even the mightiest Urdaga to shreds. It was all part of the hunt.

For now, though, he had a very specific spirit in mind. The Cahalith sniffs at the air, attempting to pick out the scent of Falcon the All-Seeing.

    Tonight we become more.

The words from his own initiation into Mountain Spring. When he got into Granite Watchtower there was no time for proper protocol. Luna the witness, they dragged there Totem out of a tree.

But these new allies and old friends had the time now.

Daniel stands beside Firebringer in Dalu - the form most useful for conversing with Spirits. Presentation might be more of a formality than anything but their Totem still demands respect.

Within he depths of the spirit wilds Slick had assumed her Urshul form. The lupine senses, the added muscle, was always something she liked having here...just in case. There was virtually always time to shift to a more suitable form when it came time to talk. The same could not be said when it came time to fight.

In the material world her fur would have been a solid, jet, black. Here, in the Hisil, it was marked heavily with lines of silver that rippled and whorled across her hide. They spoke of great deeds, of her history as one of the people. It was, by any measure, an impressive tale. And tonight, when they met Falcon All-Seeing, another chapter in it would begin.

Marcus stood in Urshul, a hulk of muscle and scars, his first change had been over a decade ago and it showed, even though the more traditional marks of aclaim had been scoured from his skin. It would probably suprise some of his new pack to discover how many of his scars had once shone silver, but he still couldn't bring himself to miss them. They had belonged to a person he couldn't have been any more, and he'd bared his belly to Skolis-Ur to change that. Compared to that, the Rite of the Silver Scar had been a picnic.

He had no pretences about his particular skills, and so waited patiently and silently for events to unfold, he trusted that those with some skill with dealing with spirits would do so, and in return he would bend those that got in their way into new and interesting shapes. A smile that was mostly teeth with a hint of humor appeared on Marcus's face. It was good to be in a pack again.

Tony had spent enough time in wolf forms. Now that it was time to meet the his new totem, he was more then happy to assume Hishu once more. With the days that had passed the Ithauer had managed to wash away the blood that had stained his hands and replace his tattered clothes.

The Iron Master was almost excited. It had been so long since he had a totem to bless him. What was it? Over a year since he had the blessing of Blackens-The Sky? Yeah, it was time to fix that. Luna knew he barely kept himself alive by when he was alone, so the pack thing was looking pretty good right now.

Aeneas scouted ahead in Dalu, a sharply nailed hand idly running over the space where his new Brand glowed dimly through his Dedicated garments. It itched. Eyes skyward, seeking the precipitous perches Falcon the All-Seeing favoured. Forging ahead had been the Irraka's honour and duty, but now that the pack was closing on their totem, it was time to cede his place to the Alpha.

Crouching by something that might be the reflection of the tree, glowing weakly with life, Aeneas waits for his pack to pass by so that he may silently fall in step beside them...

    ...Such is the Irraka's way.

It doesn't take long. In fact it's almost like Falcon the All-Seeing was waiting for you all a short distance from the Locus. Falcon the All-Seeing flies with lazy strokes as it slowly circles down towards the pack. It clearly pays extra attention to the new Wolves and what Brands they bear.

After apparently satisfying its curiousity. Falcon the All-Seeing flies low and finds a comfortable perch in front of the pack.

A low snarl. «I had hoped for grief, but they were too organized. Do they call for a hunt?»

A short pause as the Cahalith fights back creeping anger and guilt. Whatever the circumstances, he had still failed.

«We have new membership, to replace the ... unworthy.» A pointed glance toward the newer pack members, clearly expecting them to make their own introduction.

Unfortunately for Aeneas, his wait by the tree-spirit was stretched out far longer than what was perhaps pleasant, particularly with the Totem having now appeared. Alicia Serrano had strayed from the pack. Not far, but long enough so that her absence would be impossible to be overlooked. She had lingered by the locus, eyes sweeping over the spirit-sky and the stretch of Sacramento's Shadow all around them. It wasn't her first time in her new home's Shadow, but it was her first time on the spirit-side without having to worry about Pure tracking the trickle of blood spilling from her hide while she traipsed after strangers in the pursuit of safety. No, this time she had a pack, and the comfort of knowing that they were nearby lulled her into a brief contemplation of what her Pack called territory. Of what they called home. Still, it was a foolish urge that she'd followed. There was a meeting being held, and being late was never a good way to gain respect or avoid ruffling feathers (or fur).

"Sorry 'Neas," she whispered to the Irraka by the time she finally caught up to him. "Didn't mean to make you wait."

She had to jog a bit to keep up with the Dalu's longer strides, her italian boots sinking into the fragrant spirit earth as she caught up to the rest of the pack. Thankfully, she was still in time to hear Firebringer's words, and to catch his look. The time had come to finally gain a Totem's blessing. She thought about immediately stepping forward, and facing the Totem to make an introduction, but she barely remembered that she wasn't the most prominent of the pack's new blood. Slick's brands clearly showed that she was most worthy of respect, and thus most worthy of greeting the Totem before any of the other new comers. Jumping to the front of the introduction line would be an insult, and that was about the last thing she wanted to do. Storm Lord she might be, but she knew her place.

    Sometimes.

Well, it was hardly as though they could have expected the Anshega to be happy about how the other night had gone for them. None of the Urdaga were even happy about it, and they weren't even the ones that had taken the worst of the exchange.

But she was not here because of the Anshega, but rather the totem before them. She was here so a pack bond could be formalized. And as it came time to speak she shifted to Dalu form. <<My name is Slick,>> among wolves she tended to give both her human and deed name, but spirits were much less likely to care about the former so she stuck simply to the latter. <<Elodoth of the Meninna tribe. I've run as one of the people for almost five years now, several of them here before family matters called me away and Lodge obligations kept me away. Now that I've returned? Well...I've accomplished great deeds here before. And given the state of the city it seems like there's a need for similarly impressive deeds to be done now.>>
