Morgan opened her mouth to respond, then closed it. She tilted her head in thought and loudly 'hmm' to herself. Mask hard make unlikely notice I not mundane but still chance. Oh, night-dark-shadows. Old-costume-Smoke-instant hides. She smiled and opened her mouth again. Then clicked it shut as her brain, for once, beat her mouth. Except how will you see the place to scope it out in detail? At night? When its dark and has extra security? The smile faded. She hung her head and shook it, "Tttttthink not inna day. N-n-n-night yeee-n-may-ninety-eig-ven-five percent. Nine-ee-five rrrcent. Eh-heh buuuuut can't see-in-dark sssso-no-scope. Heh-heh. Not work uh-heh-unless g-grab see-n-dark token-gadget...eye-thing?"

Which if they went electronic store shopping was something they could do. Night vision goggles were available in civilian quality, thought expensive. Not that the raccoon was big on electronics so she didn't know that.

Looking back up, the Beast could only shrug. She lacked any ideas for adapting the recon plan. She did have one thought for monitoring the talkers: "Maaaaybe s-should by-buy telescopes f-ff-for watching team, heh-heh."

Daniel considered Marcus' pledge. He was not a wyrd wordsmith but it seemed pretty broad, which could be a good or bad thing. One point that could be a concern might be the no "mortal danger". As bait, as Lynn had stated, if a trap's teeth snapped shut that could leave them in mortal danger. He glanced at Lynn and then at Gianna and finally at Marcus.

"Sounds good. Next weekend should be fine."

Gianna listened to Marcus' vow, as basic as it was. It seemed to her like a clumsy effort but she couldn't fault his directness. It was why she was extremely glad the Elemental had accepted this task.

"A pledge for seven days will certainly cover the coming weekend," Gianna agreed, looking over her spectacles. "If you wish for myself to join with you in this vow, for trust's sake, then I shall."

Lynn ran her fingers over her fiddle case, thoughtfully frowning. She thought that a pledge was a good idea, especially considering the risks they were going to be taking. But . . .

Quietly she flipped her case open, her fingers finding the fiddle strings with the ease of reaching for a lover's hand. She strummed one nail along the strings, tilting her head to the side as if she was listening for something in the tone. Whatever she heard, it seemed to please her, because she smiled and nodded.

There is a pause as each changeling binds themselves to each other for the next 7 days, or until they have the information from HAL. Crimson bands symbolizing the vow manifest briefly, appearing as a heavy choker around the throat as the Wyrd agrees to the Metalflesh's request. Once set, it fades from sight but each Lost can feel the weight of it.

For now, the task has been set. Gianna bids each a pleasant evening, allowing them to take the photographs she had acquired and the ideas formed. They had a few days and nights to prepare before the weekend of hunting HAL, and for now at least, they had a lead.
