"I'm good, thanks," Terri replied, very chipper this evening. When the Darkling introduced himself, the Beast replied with a friendly smile, glad to get a name.
When Morgan appeared, seemingly struggling with six bags!
Six!
That was never going to end well.
"Morgan! Share the load, hunny," Terri joked, skipping over to help her fellow Steepscrambler, kneeling next to her to pick up a couple of the torn bags.

Seeing the steepscrambler's epic struggle, Daniel hurried to lend a hand as well.

As the group moved, Milo silently followed behind the others to the stuttering one's aid.

As they try to assist Morgan with her cumbersome burden, the changelings notice nearby movement in the darkness. Although the creepy Victorian house tends to inspire a general atmosphere of uneasiness at night, this is definitely not a case of their eyes playing tricks on them. They all notice some movement disturbing the shadows near the boarding house.

Milo's eyes flick over to the driveway as shadows draw his attention away from the antics of the group.
"Pardon me, but I believe there might be trouble." A finger points lazily towards the back of the house. "I see two figures carrying something. Either someone went grocery shopping at a very odd time or the boarding house might have a problem."
The Fairest scans the group with eyebrows raised. "So who would like to go investigate?"
