That sounds good. We can keep the guards for a bit, maybe even Domesticate them all in a big way so they're useful. Let's grab all of the above and proceed.

They have time, if they move quickly.
Josephine and Baldwin retrieve one of the bodies: almost complete, this one sans arms but the curved, beautiful legs remain. The details are exquisite, rendered all the more delightful in gold with such preternatural detail - why, there is even a delightful silvery navel ring in place. A pity about the face with its horrified look and the twist to the musculature of the neck, looking on in terror but trying to look away.
In the time it takes the pair to get back, bearing their obstinate and cumbersome load, Max has bought up his own vehicle and hurried back into the house. The Dragon knows time is of the essence and his movements are a study in controlled speed. Thankfully, the large box (or cupboard, or arc, or whatever) is unsealed and he wrenches the doors open to peer within.
A large veil of white gauze, weighted with small ovals of glass. It catches the light as he pulls it free: soft and radiant even in the poor light and unsullied by the thick, pasty mess that stains the box's interior. Holding it up, unfurled, he notes the peculiarly face shaped smudge in the middle of the gauze. By then, his senses are already spreading outward.
When he is done, he notices that his fingers are stained wine-dark from their contact with the veil. A passing shadow alerts him to the returning Haunt and Lord with their trophy.

As the others finish up loading the purloined items into the cars, Max makes his way out of the house carrying what looks like a bridal veil. He unceremoniously piles it in with the other objects heading to the Ballo Della Notte; only then does he notice the stains on his fingers. The Mekhet glances down at his fingers, puzzled for a moment whether it was the substance inside the box or if the item somehow generated it of it's own accord.
Such questions would have to wait for later, and Max absent-mindedly reached down to wipe his hands off in the grass. "Alright, that's the last of it. Let's get the hell out of here; I've had enough excitement for one night..."
After making sure their prizes were secured in the vehicles, including the poor Guard bound by her Will, Josephine heartily agreed that they depart and climbed aboard Baldwin's vehicle.
Let's wrap it up and review what we've found, then. Next thread?
