Mace tilted her head and looked at Ace. "Look, not to point too fine a point on it? But... How do we know you'll show?" She wasn't thrilled about being the one to ask it, but the question had to be asked. She turned and looked at her sister. "You're still bleeding," she said, looking at the patch of red. "I'll fix the shirt at home, okay?"
"I won't hit you," Mace said to Ace. "Not unless you pose an immediate threat to any of us here. Then all bets are off."

Pepper let out a short sigh at Striker's snapping towards her. She gestured to her injured shoulder with her other hand before clasping down on it. Least she could do was work on her own bleeding.
Then outright scowled at Ace pointing out that they had nothing on him. With a groan she started muttering mostly to herself, "It's really depressing that he's not only right about us not really having anything, but that i have more against two of us than I do him."
What could you do? Well, at least Mace was keeping focused despite the negativity and asking the questions that needed to be asked.
Pepper spends 2 mana towards Pattern Restoration as per Pg 77 of Mage Core
Ace gave Mace a big ol' grin. "Because I could've outrun you and been gone already if I didn't want to talk, easy. Now scoot, before the 5-0 arrives. See you there. Room 107."
And with that, the charming douchebag took off.
