Two nights had passed. Faceless men. Nameless organizations. All the money, a cut going up and up and up until it reached the very top in the hands of the darksiders who ruled Sacramento's night. But a seat at the table had been purchased. Perhaps, tonight, Pepper would win.
The only easy way to the back of Blink was through the bar, which was filling with patrons for this Saturday night's drunken pleasures. A couple of girls worked the bar and the room, wearing way too little and baring almost everything that their managers would allow them. More tips.
