Dale lead the wolves who would make up his new pack to a nearby Locus, urging them to step across with him upon arriving. The Locus itself wasn't particularly large or powerful, so when the wolves stepped across into the Hisil, only a few small spirits scattered away from it due to their arrival. The Rahu looked around, getting a feel for the landscape that they found themselves in. He knew that finding an appropriate spirit for his pack's totem would not be easy, but it was something that they needed to do. They wouldn't be considered a real pack until they had accomplished the task anyway.
"Keep your eyes open," he said to the others, knowing that the Shadow could be a dangerous place. Besides, the Urdaga weren't exactly welcomed with open arms by the denizens of the Hisil. "We will need to scout out the area, and likely will have to wander around for a while until we find something." Dale had never been an expert on expeditions into the Shadow, but he hoped that Brett's affiliation with the Bone Shadows would come in handy in this case. Surely the other Rahu had received some sort of training concerning spirits.
"Unless we get lucky," he added after a brief pause, offering the others an encouraging smile. Keeping the morale high was important after all, especially considering the circumstances they found themselves in.
