[Ariadne]

Ariadne had set up a side room within the Hostel for the meeting. A generic looking room that could equally be used for storage or for a quiet meeting. A bland aged wood table sits in the center of the room. An assortment of chairs hang around the table as if they had been hastily pulled from their proper homes. The Epopt sits quietly in one of the chairs. Looking intently at a piece of cat hair she had pulled off of her suit. Pixel has been getting inventive.

This could be problematic.. Ariadne murmurs to herself.

Bishop squared away the last bits of paper work for his shift. He was in between - actually already relieved from the front desk, but still caught up in the documentation of the day. With a sigh he closed the folder and sorted it into the file cabinet, where it belonged, before emptying his mug of coffee. He winced slightly.
<Two hours cold - what the hell did I expect?>
He closed his eyes for a moment, leaning back in his chair and relaxing completely, before getting up, adjusting his work attire and leaving the office.
"I am off in a meeting with the boss." he told the two ladies manning the desk now, while passing them on the way to the elevator. "Absolutely no disturbances. Something flags or someone goes crazy, you call me on the cell phone, ok?"
He did not really wait for an answer, mostly because it was crystal clear that dealings with the proprietor were sacrosanct and were never to be violated. Ever.
Bishop made for the elevator and shortly after entered the hastily organized conference room.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Murphy." he said, nodding politely in Ariadnes direction. It was always prudent, to use the sleeping identities, for as long as the door was still open.

A notation that this thread has been moved to the Awakening Subforum. In the future all Order and Path meets should be posted as Sticky threads here in Awakening. Also for future reference the rule of one sticky thread will apply, meaning player's will have to choose one if a Path meet runs over to the Order meeting. These restrictions have been handwaved for this single meeting though, as these new rules were not public knowledge at the time the thread was started.

What was it about these meetings that they always seemed scheduled at some point that would keep her watching the time? Though she'd offered a ride to the place to Star, Zoey also made it clear that she wasn't going to be able to give him a ride back to 4W after, as well. Given her attire, the reason why might have been obvious. Or perhaps it wasn't. But unless he felt the desire to ask, she didn't really feel the need to inform him, either.

Taking a moment and a deep breath, Zoey sighed a little as she looked once more at the Hostel. It had been a couple of weeks since she'd been here. She'd be reporting her findings to Bishop shortly enough, she figured, but this occasion might be a bit too much of a public one for that. She shut the car off and glanced to Star, before offering a little shrug and heading into the building. If this was a long meeting... eh. Well, her phone was in her pocket for a reason.

"Bishop!" she called in greeting as she spotted the man, though she had no other means of addressing either of the current attendees, she did offer a smile and tone that was very much as though she might've been using a fond nickname.

He didn't ask. After all, he had his loafers on. And they still hurt. He alternated between jamming his toes down in them to settle them, and pressing the sides of them to relieve pressure. But, still. What the heck was she wearing? Was she traveling back in time to go to the junior high dance?

None. Of. His. Business.

Speaking of business, would Nous be there? Oh, man. Were they going to have to give a report on the dark net thing? So. Uncomfortable.

Folders. He needed a folder.

"You, uh, look nice."

He didn't know a lot about females. But one thing he'd picked up? When they did something weird with their looks, no matter what you thought, compliment them. A shrug mirrored hers as they exited. Because No Idea.

Just remember: Don't call him Santa.

"I hope the place has been treating you well Bishop." Ariadne replies to the older Guardian's greeting with a smile. Having someone around is always good. Even if you disregard any possible subterfuge by the Libertines.

The smile turns into a grin when Zoey enters the room. That is a bright dress....bright.

"I hope I didn't interrupt anything?" Ariadne asks her fellow Warlock. "Evening Star" She says to the other Veiled Threat cabal member.

"Does anyone know if Nous be attending tonight?"

Bishop gave a faint smile. "Are you kidding? I enjoy this place. It is full of possibilities. If my schedule would permit it, I would get this expanded. Above and below." he said.
He waved Zoey and Star into the room, shaking hands and pointing at the table.
"Ms. Zoey, Mr. Star, come in and have a seat please."

Bishop turned his head back at the Epopt.
"Are we expecting someone else, or is that all of the active assets of the department?" he asked.

[Star]

He gave a polite wave and nod as the Powers That Be --Principal Ari-- focused their attention on him, but didn't reply. Much like a motionless lab rat in the corner of a cage, he'd prefer attention to slide away like water off of a ducks back.

Santa? He still hadn't figured that out. There wasn't anything to say the man was anybody, but he'd yelled at Leo and Asp and no one had blinked.

He shifted a little, unsure whether to volunteer that Nous was most likely coming, because she was pretty good about handling her business work. But he didn't. Because attention.

So he sat.

She walks in calmly and collected. It's not everyday they have a meeting, and she certainly isn't late. She's never late. She always arrives exactly when she's supposed to arrive. She's wearing clothes as if she's come from work, but she has a clipping of flowered sage woven into a small braid on the left side of her head.

"Hey."

Succinct. Quiet. Peaceful. Not your typical Nous Troi out in public.

She sits in an open chair assuming there is an agenda of some sort and that she isn't responsible for creating it.

"So is Dál Riata coming or is she still pretending that she isn't one of us?"

Zoey shrugged at Nous' question, but offered her a small smile anyway. "Good to see you. How have you been, Elle?" she inquired politely as she found herself a seat, giving Ariadne an incline of her head as well.

"... ah, here, I see Pixel got to you," she chuckled lightly as she reached to grab a small something from her bag before offering the lint roller to the Epopt. "Felix likes to shed everywhere, too, and on occasion finds it fun to crawl into the clean laundry hamper - probably because it's warm. I started carrying this around..." she smiled a bit.
