Markos left the Ritz camera very proud of himself. On his back a backpack made to hold cameras. In that backpack a Brand New Nikon D90 SLR with lenses. He was very proud of himself.
Grandpa Pat would have been proud too Mark thought to himself
Mark’s grandfather was a bit of a renaissance man, Laborer, Musician, Actor and Photographer. Mark’s Grandpa Pat was a major influence on his life. Every summer until he was sixteen Mark and His father would go back to Ireland to visit his Grandpa.
”Markie, ya know what photography is? It’s the closest thing God gave us to immortality.” Grandpa if only you knew.
Mark mounted his motorcycle and sped off, excited to try out his new purchase. Mark pulled up to his building and parked his Bike. ”Your Such a Neonate, its time for you to give up those childish, mortal, things” Markos could here his Sire saying to him.
Mark went inside and began setting up. He had been working on his make shift studio for a few days now. He had waited to get the camera until he say that his sire was still making deposits into his personal account, for now. ”Probably doing it so ah don’t rat her out”, Mark thought out loud.
Spartan is how Mark would describe his apartment. A couch and stereo, bought from a pawnshop, an old kitchen table and chair set. The only thing that stood out was his makeshift photography studio, his Macbook Pro and his photo printer.
All of the windows were covered with Black curtains and were pinned closed and fastened to the walls. Even in the Brightest of Days not a drop of Sunlight would seep through.
For the next few days Mark did nothing but sleep, eat and take pictures. Either in the apartment or he went out riding his bike around town and taking pictures of buildings, bridges, and people.
On the fourth day Mark grew tired of taking such … impersonal … pictures. So he sat at his Macbook and wrote up an advertisement.

Mark printed off about 10 of the fliers and went to some of the more trendy bars as well as the collage campuses and posted the ads. After doing that Mark submitted the advertisement to Craigslist and to a couple of the more contemporary new papers.
After making his rounds Mark rides over to a late night bookstore/coffee shop and pages through a couple of books on Photography and admired all the people he would like to give a taste of immortality too.
