Asp smiles across at Striker, the one-armed Aussie. It felt weird fighting a guy who was down a limb, but she was a Life mage and an Arrow besides. She knew better than to underestimate a guy based on that.
"Have a good match," she said pleasantly to him before raising her dukes. "Let's do it!"
Asp is delaying her action.

"You're not gonna go easy on me 'cause of them arm ok." Striker told Asp in no uncertain terms. "If I can't win without it, then I can't win." He wished he didn't have to mention it at all, but better to get it out now, than to have a win discredited by someone commenting after the match 'oh I was going easy on you'. Asp looked like she meant business though, and she was an Arrow, so he wasn't really worried about it.
He raised his fist and started bouncing back and forth on his toes.

Striker was keeping on his toes all round, he was fast, damn fast. But Asp was lighting fast, living up to her name sake. She seemed to anticipate all his motions and move out of the way or start blocking before he'd begun the strike.
Asp's reply was brutal as the shot just went wide. A little jab followed by a brutal left cross, in which she pushed a wee bit extra off her back foot and put a whole ton of power into it.
Asp applies her defence from Round 1 as All Out Attack.

Striker's Defense + Armour vs bashing is currently 3. He takes 2 bashing.
Asp hit as fast as she dodged, and she hit surprising hard. He maintains his pace hoping for an opening, but fails to find one, mainly punching the air. He finally lands a strike but it was so badly timed that he doubts it will even hurt her.
The young Arrow's shield of Life deflected the punch, and yet again, Asp threw herself hard into the attack. Her fist darted in and smashed solidly into Striker.
Asp's Armor covers the damage. She uses All-Out Attack in Round 2.

Striker takes 2 bashing, 4 total.
Another solid hit from Asp and Striker is frustrated, he's supposed to be showing how good he is but he's getting his arse handed to him like a bum who spits at a cop. Knowing if he can't do something useful soon it'll be over he throws everything he's got at the other Mage. He ducks low then brings his fist in an arc to Asps chin, targeting just the right spot. He's left himself open but for him the satisfaction of the solid hit was worth it.
All out attack, Striker has 1 point of armor and the blow negates 1 point of armor for kung fu merit, however I forgot to take one off for Strikers health damage negative.
As Striker goes for broke, Asp brings up her guard and focuses all of her attention on avoiding his moves. Between her spell's toughness and her quick, evasive action, the Arrow manages to take what would have been a devastating uppercut and make it a graze across the cheek.
"Good match!" Asp says with a smile once the round was over, taking off her gloves and rubbing at her hit cheek for a moment before offering him a hearty handshake.
Asp will Dodge, doubling her Defense to 6. Her armor remains 3. Between -9 for Defence/Armor and -1 for the wound penalty, all but the first two dice are down and Asp takes 1B. 3 rounds complete!
Striker has 4B, Asp has 1B.

If your armour started at 3 then the Kung Fu merit reduced it to 2. Not that it makes a difference to the results.
"Jeez you're quick" Striker replies shaking her hand firmly "And tough. It was like you had a bloody shield up in there." he continued, genuine admiration on his face. It's not often you meet a girl who can take a hit like that to the jaw as well as she did.
