Orpheus took a second to sigh, partly because he did that before running, and partly because of the back and forth he was hearing. For now, he'd keep those thoughts to himself and focus on the running.
The Mystagogue was able to push himself towards the front of the group, not in front of Asp and the other guy, but just in front of Geist in any case.
And he beat the First Talon. How's that for a confidence booster?

"All the other kids with the pumped up kicks..."
Sing it quiet, yo. He grinned at Asp and offered her a congratulatory fist bump with one hand and twirled a finger over the top of his head with the other. Because bets.
"Nice jets. Totally thought I'd catch ya nappin'. C'mon. Let's go congratulate the others? Side note: too much Moxie!" Still keeping it low. Hush hush.
Honestly? He was a little bothered. Skurred, even. Didn't expect a blowout like that. Podiatrically challenged. File under: Stay near Arrows that aren't Asp. Because slow, yo. They weren't going to run in to save the day.
"Wow. Edward Scissorhands looks like he was running from the Zompacalypse*," he added in a whisper.
Not mad. At all. Slow people necessary to keep the zombies busy. Everyone knew that.

Looking around at the others bickering, having fun, and all around socializing nicely made Miach wince. He really didn't felt much of this merry enjoyement. As it was, the Medstar even missed the start, and wearing a kevlar vest probably didn't help his top speed either.
Whatever, he managed to cross the line, alive. It was all that mattered. Even the pleasant sensations he got from his exercising body had to come second, for now.
"Now we know whose prime candidates for being the decoys when we need to take out a sniper nest." He chuckled. "Reverb." he offered Striker his hand. There but for the grace of God and .45s... His left shoulder began aching at the memory of teeth.

"Striker" replied the one armed mage, firmly shaking Reverb's hand "nice ta meetcha mate." he continued in a friendly fashion. Looking at the mage's eye patch and scar he commented "Looks like we've both had a bit of trouble on our the left sides."
Striker sits down to put his worn socks and sturdy shoes back on.

"Well Shit Asp." A look of surprise covered his face as he crossed the finish line. When did he become Halo? "Well done."
He totally wasn't out of breathe, that definitely wasn't the fastest the First Talon of the Ungala Draconis could run, and Leo was totally not looking into Forces later just for this shit. Leo wondered, if this was karmic which mage would hold this over his head for the next few months.
'Fuck if Halo comes back...' He wouldn't be able to leave the Circle ever again.
Asp bumped Cut's fist back. Damn! She had moved fast, even for her! "Great run, man. That was close. Moxieful, even," she said. Inside joke. Fauxbals were so much fun. Her eyes traced over to Geist. "Yeah, holy shit..." she muttered. Arrow Field Day was serious business. But usually, even the Arrow didn't take the Arrow Olympics that seriously.
Leo's congratulations got a big thumbs up and smile from the rookie. Two golds? That's a good start for Veild Threats. "Thanks," she said with a grin.

"Umm. Nice race," he offered Leo when he started talking to Asp again.
They'd totes been talking before. Maybe he needed to get ghost. Third wheel much?
He bounced off to the appropriate side of Striker and offered him a fist bump too.
Dang it.
Hadn't been able to see if he ran with a gangster lean.
