The large Victorian mansion is an unassuming structure, and the Lost like it that way. Edna's Boarding House features a large front porch, multiple floors, and plenty of room for those Lost with nowhere else to go. The mansion has a modest back garden with a tool shed, which is where those attending the so called "Sage Symposium" have been directed to gather.

Whilst its current matron can be frightening, Betony is a fair host willing to bargain with her tenants. The Autumn Queen is not responsible for this evening's gathering, though she has approved it. The one responsible is waiting for the attendees to arrive so she can let them into the Hollow where the preparations have been set. Her choice of attire was semi-formal at best. Khaki pants, a nice black dress blouse, and black pumps made the little Beast look like someone with a job. The clipboard, paper, and pens added to the image of professionalism.

The raccoon's nervousness however detracted. Morgan's nerves are not due to her having left her notes unattended in the Hollow or having this event be her responsiblity...Okay, she was terrified of the public speaking parts but it was just at the start, right? No, what really worried her was the Sprights.

Those thing had gotten through Betony's Wards with ease. Even though they seemed scared of the Dread Queen, they might overcome that fear for free food: "Really-really hope foods stays put. Reeally more-hope this goes good-best."

Welcome everybody! This is an Eternal Seasons Thread that is open for anyone to join in on. Let's all have fun.

    And Green was there.

He of the big beard and craggy, angular looks. He of the immense size and the meaty fists. He of the ponderous tread. Green turned up in jeans and drab shirt with the sleeves rolled up. By the look of it he was breaking in a pair of work boots (all crisp and shiny black, not yet moulded to the contours of his foot).

He actually looked surprised that he had arrived so promptly.

"Uh. Hi? Are we the only ones here?"

The Scrivener arrived a few minutes later than she might have liked, her little yellow car rattling to a stop just down the block from the boarding house. Taking a quick moment to unpin the name tag she had forgotten on her silvery sleeveless blouse, she exited the car with a thin leather briefcase tucked under her arm. The heat made her thoroughly uncomfortable, sweat compounded with her eternally damp hair making her look a little more disheveled than usual; the evidence of reading late into the night lay on her face, and did not help the situation. But she was there, she was prepared, and she was excited to see who came and what they wanted to talk about.

With a small spring in her step, she came around the side of the house to the predetermined meeting spot. At the sight of Morgan and Green, her pallid face broke into a bright, toothy smile. "Hello! Sorry, I meant to get here earlier, but, work." She shrugged with one shoulder with a 'what can you do' expression and shifted the briefcase to her hands to minimize her opportunity to sweat on it.

    Description

Terri's Mask is that of a petite, cute woman with vibrant red hair that has black streaks throughout. Obviously athletic, her natural demeanour is friendly and she always tends to have a smile on her face.

Her fae mien is akin to a red squirrel. She has a long bushy tail and ear tufts that poke through her hair. The black streaks are actually black feathers the are a part of her mien now,; a part of her noble order.

Terri's powerful Mantle initiates itself as the smell of baking bread but brings with it the feeling of the Harvest, that time to take stock of the coming troubles.

Arriving at Edna's once more, Terri was a little anxious at just what was going to happen. Today was certainly going to be a day to get back into the swing of things, maybe help out the Freehold once again, and understand just what she had missed since 'dying'.

Wearing a simple pair of denim jeans she had found in her Hollow, along with a white blouse and pair of her old running shoes, Terri knew the days of fancy dresses were long behind her. She was dressed for business.

Arriving at the house, Terri entered with a friendly smile, seeing Morgan, Green and Ava. "Hey there, I hope I'm not too late."

Stripes is still trying to tuck in his shirt as he runs up to the Boarding House.

Things had felt like they'd died down when suddenly the word had reached him. The former rulers of Autumn were back. At first he'd been wary, uncertain what to believe. There'd been no word to welcome them back that he'd heard, no fanfare...

But as he enters the front door of Betony Rue's home the proof is right in front of him. Stripes can feel his mantle go respectfully silent, the darting shadows ceasing their endless motion.

"TERRI!" he cheers, bouncing up to Autumn's former Queen with a huge smile on his face.

The Paladin of Shadow's tougher demeanor is vanished. Suddenly he almost looks like a kid again, excited to see an old friend after a long, long absence.

It was with some trepidation Mal approached the boarding house...

    As per bloody usual.

She imagined this was probably how Ava had felt about Morgan and 'Doctor Knock's knife class. She could have just asked her motley-mate. But Ava had been so busy, or so... just not there Mal hadn't found the time.

A 'symposium' of Autumn, Occultist nerds was not, perhaps the natural habitat of the Iron Spear. Least of all the cranky little Hunterheart. But the fact of the matter was, this dream crap had caught her with her pants down. Her ignorance had led to a string of embarassing mistakes, including nearly getting Ava and herself... she didn't even know what would have happened if they hadn't escaped!

    Mal felt stupid.

    And Mal hated feeling stupid.

If fixing that meant sitting at the back, listening to a bunch of Autumn Occultist nerds, then by god, she was going to be the best damn Autumn-Occultist-nerd-listener they ever saw.

    "..."

Green had meant to say something along the lines of "hello, Ava," or something to that effect. He got as far as opening his mouth and drawing in the necessary breath. Then he saw a certain red haired Beast trotting along behind. A certain person who Green was sure was perished: lost in flames and dragon fire. Green remembered those flames; he remembered the Hedge burning; he remembered that he had barely survived himself.

To the world, Green said nothing. It was as though martial artist had struck him with a paralysing kung fu pinch. At best, the mountain's expression could be described as:

    D'uh.

At worst, he could be described as the physical embodiment of... well, you can guess, can't you?

Morgan let out a loud sigh of relief upon Green's arrival. A bunch of leaves that had been appearing around her ankles just faded out. She favored the mountain-man with a smile, "Eh-heh t-thus far glad-you-here-Green buuuut wait-more-here good-too, heh." As first the Lady Scrivener and then the former Dread Queen arrived the raccoon felt relief. This would have been weird if nobody showed up. She was actually smiling as more people showed up and gave a large wave hello to everyone. She scribbled down on her clipboard a hash mark for each person, before thinking and adding another. Morgan was here too. Good thing the food wasn't going to be a waste.

But I'd have had soooo much to bribe Sprights with. Too much. But still much. Don't wanna see them drunk or sugar buzzed though. Maybe-have-to if this is it. Hopefully this wasn't it.

She smiled as she focused upon the arrivals, "Heh w-welcome evereeebody, heh. H-hope for big-decent-size crowd. Uh, not-much-for-public-speaking-train-wreck but-but big-good for brain-sharing and getting rid of food-heh...leave...tract...ny...sprites." The last part was mumbled and might be hard to make out.

She shook her head and then stood on her toes to...well. To try to look over the heads of her fellow 'lings. She also shifted to the left and right to look around them. Her next words were spoken just above a whisper: "Huh? S-surprise Rick not-here if Terri here is, heh."

Or perhaps he'd been running just a touch late. Rick turned the corner into view just as Morgan's whisper died away, almost as if summoned by it.

In truth, when it came time to depart he'd hesitated. Terri would be there, he was certain. What he was significantly less certain about was just where he stood with her right now. Which threatened to make things...awkward. But staying away because of that would have been letting his fear get the better of him. Which was unacceptable as far as he was concerned; for a former Dread Lord, for one whom Autumn's favor was draped around so tangibly. Especially when it came to a meeting whose purpose was the spread of occult knowledge, something that was definitely a forte of his.

Regardless, he appears content not to draw attention to himself as he makes his appearance. No verbal announcement of his arrival, just a simple nod of acknowledgement to whomever notices him. Even his mantle, though powerful as ever, kept itself cocooned tightly around him instead of filling the area with leaves, lightning, and wind.

An unobtrusive entrance to let Terri have her moment, her reunions.

There was no mistaking the strength of the mantle that accompanied the redhead that arrived after her, though it took Ava a moment to place her face. She had, after all, only ever seen her once before: her very first Coronation in Sacramento, well over a year ago. It had only ever been from a distance, too, as the former sovereign had seemed busy, and Ava herself had been busy getting to know Mal.

Stripes' arrival and exuberant greeting of Terri forestalled any words that might have found their way out of the Scrivener's mouth, and she didn't mind in the least. As Morgan speedily welcomed everyone and Rick appeared on cue, Ava began to feel more and more like she had missed something, some footnote somewhere.

Well, the symposium is a success already: Terri has been found. Done. Sarcasm aside, she couldn't help but notice that Morgan didn't seem surprised to see Terri; Stripes just seemed glad, not shocked or impressed. She was a little irked to be out of the loop, not that it was really any of her business the longer she thought about it, and it was impossible to dismiss the cold, quiet voice in her mind that was less interested in joyful reunions, and much more intent on just how strange the power dynamics of the Autumn Court were about to get.

The sincere smile she had come in with had slowly transformed into a fainter, politer shadow of itself as she drummed her fingers on the briefcase in her hands, not quite sure what to do with herself. Her eyes flicked quickly between Terri and Rick, measuring his quiet entrance with reserved curiosity.
