As Asa enters his office in the Avalon, he finds a crimson wrapped box sitting on his desk, the name Asa Clarke written on a gold tag hanging from a gold bow. When he inquires to one of his ghouls or employees, he is told that the package showed up at the door earlier that evening and was placed in his office.

Curious to see who the package came from before he opened it, Asa opened his awareness to the psychic 'fingerprints' left on it...

Auspex 3

Asa sees a man putting something into the box and closing it up. He then drives to the Avalon and delivers the box to the door man, saying it is for the owner of the establishment.

Odd.

Asa slowly undid the bow and opened the box.

Inside the larger box is a smaller box, this one purple and very pretty with gold filigry on the outside. This box also has Asa's name on it writtin in very flowing calugraphy handwriting. This box is much smaller then the first one though. Whatever is in it cannot be much bigger then say a coffee mug.

Still curious, but more cautiously, Asa used Auspex again. Purple was the color for Ventrue -- was this something from the banished Walter Steele?

Asa sees a woman, not one he recognizes, standing at a counter in a jewelry store. She is placing a very nice watch into the box and closing it securely. Then she passes it over to the man he saw in his earlier vision who puts it into the red box.

How strange.

He wasn't sure at all to make of the box, it's contents, or it's method of arrival. He opened it, slowly, wondering if there would be a card or inscription on the watch to give him answer.

The watch is a very nice, very expensive gold rolex. It must have cost the buyer a fortune. As he turns it over in his hands and looks at the back, an inscription is etched into the back of the watch. It reads:

Remember GM

There was only one person Asa knew with those initials. He almost bared his fangs at the watch at the memory.

Childer? Or was Gabriel involved with the Brood?

His first instinct was to pursue the jewelry store angle, but it was almost certain to be a dead end. Even if the buyer had not paid with cash, leaving no trail, they had probably been mesmerized into the task. It's how he would do such a thing.

The Lost Nights had overshadowed such an event though, so it was curious how the sender knew he was involved; more importantly, he'd have to ask Ishani and O-Yama if they had received anything. Elle and Marius were gone.

If they touched a Millarr, he would burn them, a bit at a time, over months.
