Having been warned of a threat to their allies the Sky Wardens find themselves in the human world once again. The off putting nature of the Hisil left behind for the questions of the flesh. Around them lays the only safe place in Sacramento. Tur.
Of which they find to be rather empty aside from themselves.

Kevin's glances to Steel Gaze, wanting to see what plan their Alpha has. His ears move about as he waits does so. His tail slowly going from left to right.

Steel slips out into the material world, barely even pausing for breath. He jerks his head to Kevin, an indication that they're going to keep moving. Speed is what they need right now.
<<No shift,>> he speaks in slightly mangled first tongue. <<Keep moving.>>
A trio of wolves... certainly isn't normal if they get spotted by humans. Steel knows that well. But if need be he'll shoulder the blame for anything that comes afterward. It's certainly less likely to cause a panic than most of their other forms, and human form is just too slow. The second Jessie is with them, Steel takes off as fast he can to the North.
The step out of the Hisil and back to Sacramento was always unsettling to Jessie. As if he was slipping back into his body after leaving it behind. He takes a moment to get used to feeling his muscles again before kicking off the ground and catching back up with Steel, then pushing himself to keep up with Steel as the pack makes fast movement towards Northern Sacramento.

Moving north the wolves stick to the shadows and relative safety they promise with a wink. After running for a good time the pack finds themselves at the border of the airport. Just behind where they stand is the bare grass covered perimeter that designates the airport from the surrounding world. Also giving personal in the airport a good view of anything coming towards it.
A parked golf car sits in the middle of the grass moat. The bright red of a light cigar burns brighter as the person holding it takes in a deep breath. Then the person waves at you all.

Kevin's ears go backward as the guy waves at them. He cocks his head questioningly at the guy. Who's that? The blond Itheaur wonders.

Steel tenses, looking around. None of the other packs seem to be nearby. Two words ring in his head.
"Wrong way..."
He should have stopped to think. None of the other packs would have been fool enough to come up toward the airport by themselves. Much as he'd like to turn back, though, that figure with the cigar is gesturing to them. His hackles raise as he glances back to Jessie and Kevin.
<<Eyes open, ready for anything,>> he warns them.
It's a trap. He can just feel it has to be a trap and now they don't have much choice but to spring it seems. That doesn't mean he's going in stupid, though, as he burns a bit of Essence, freeing his mind and senses to prepare for whatever is to come.
He warily approaches the smoking man, tail up and lips pulled back in a near snarl. He stops well outside of the stranger's apparent reach.
Steel spends 1 Essence for Clarity, boosting future Initiative rolls by 5
Jessie does his best to mimic Steel's actions, though stays further behind and is a bit quieter. His mind more focused on the who and why of the situation. Going so far away from the main building for a smoke? Something odd is going on.

"Woah woah woah." Up close Steel and the others can see that it is a middle aged man smoking the cigar. "Hold on there. I'm not here to start shit." The man may be middle aged but he carries himself calmly and confidently.
The man taps a symbol on his chest. On it an airplane is emblazed over a shield. "Airport security" <<Martial Observer>> He speaks with two voices simultaneously.
"I'm just here to make sure that you all don't try to start anything on our turf. My bosses have allowed one of yours to work here as a sign of peace." The security guard hasn't the slightest clue which of the damned wolves this bunch are.

Claimed. Kevin thinks, unsure of if Steel will press the issue with this Spirit. With a wolfish shrug, Kevin raises his head high above his back and looks around along with his ears flickering around while he sniff the air, doing his best to get a feel for their current location.
