Gina paced the lobby to the Fillard Goldman Museum clearly bothered, anxious, and agitated. There were two culprits to this. The first was the time: it was very, very early in the morning. Tyria had called Gina before the sun climbed into the sky and requested that Gina summon the rest of the Mysterium to the Museum.

The factotum sighed and did just that.

Which brought up the second thing that bothered Gina: she didn't know why the Curator had called so early with her request. Usually, the lovely young woman had an idea and an inkling to the Curator's unique moods. Someone had messed something up... or, a member of the Mysterium reached for knowledge outside of their pay-grade.

The fact that Gina had no idea, made the blonde reach for another piece of hard candy. Cherry.

So, the Sleepwalker did as she was asked and called up the rest of her phone-tree.

Much to Gina's chagrin, Tyria did not have a smart-phone.

Since it was a Monday, the rest of the Museum was closed and an eerie silence was broken up by Gina's shoes tapping on the floors. In the museum proper, there were some artifacts currently on loan from nearby Native American tribes, masks without eyes watching everyone as they descend. But, the Mysterium knows that the facade of contemporary newness was a bit of a lie, hiding the Museum they all knew.

This is a Tier 2 Plot, open to the Mysterium. This does not count against your Tier 3 Plot Limit and anyone of the MY can join this thread regardless of if they are in a plot or not. ♥

Arriving on time the young woman known as Kiko entered dressed in a comfortable shorts set, rather colorful and cheery despite the random emotions she was dealing with as of late. Sneaker soled footsteps, almost soundless in their stride, and her strawberry scent was the only indication the feline soul had arrived. Noting Gina a small smile formed as she headed towards the woman, but in the back of her mind Tyria's presence still bothered the woman as if the Curator was far from human as those thoughts settled into their usual spot in her psyche.

"Good Morning Gina-san, you're well this morning?" as she approached she withdrew a small folded paper bag and with two hands, once close enough to the woman, offered it to her.

"Some of my homemade candy for you"

Orpheus entered the Museum with a confused expression on his face. Oddly enough he was wearing his lab coat, having completely missed putting it on in the early morning autopilot before work. At least I called in before hand... He thought to himself before taking the damn thing off and stuffing it under an arm, revealing a blue t-shirt with the words "Warning | Your Perceptions of the Universe may be Corrected at any time." across the front.

He'd taken a liking to that shirt ever since Awakening.

In his left hand was a coffee cup, likely filled with the obivious. He'd take a big long swig before looking between Kiko and Gina. "Mornin'" He'd yawn. "So... What's going on?"

Miach had been startled by the phone call, thinking it was another emergency at Sutters. He was still sorting out his comeback there, alas. It was an emergency, but it wasn't Sutter's. Reluctantly leaving his home, his sanctuary, the Acanthus arrived at Fillard with bleary eyes. He was wearing military clothes, which felt weird but made him feel better. Prepared, somewhat.

He nodded to the other mystagogues - slightly lower to Kiko - and went to have a cappuccino. A very sweet one. His eyes were trying to look at everything at once, and he started pacing left and right, never staying in the same place for any length of time. Harder to target.

"Morning..." he said at last, but he was still walking.

Gratefully, Gina accepts the candies and smiles warmly at the adorable Thyrsus. It might have been gauche, but a woman of her sweet-tooth couldn't help but take a peak within the paper-bag. “I'm okay,” Gina offers, “you know, for it being so early.

Orpheus' question is only answered by a shrug and, “I don't know myself Orpheus, sorry.

The lovely woman graces Miach with a smile before she asks the rest, “Do you guys need anything? Bagels?” The Sleepwalker thought this was a breakfast meeting, apparently. Nothing more or less than that. Her thought and any answers from the trio of Mystagogues is interrupted however by the confident whip-crack of heels. The steps come quickly down the hall, heralding the arrival of Tyria Primordia; even before she can be seen.

The Curator of the Mysterium's gaze is unwavering and for it being so early in the morning, she seems not to feel any of the affects of sleeplessness. Perhaps, she's just an early riser.

Gina,” Tyria says evenly, “thank you. Bagels won't be necessary. Direct the late ones to Conference Room A.” Her sharp gaze falls upon Kiko, Orpheus, and Miach in turn. Then she turns and strides towards the Conference Rooms; expecting the other three to follow.

An unintentional shiver ran down the Obrimos' spine as Tyria's gaze passed over him. Suddenly he was a tad more keen on figuring out what was going on.

Looking back towards Kiko and Miach, Orpheus promptly follows the Curator, keeping up with her stride and staying a few feet back.

When Gina took the candies Kiko smiled warmly to the sleepwalker and had politely declined the bagels. Then the steps of the Curator were heard and inwardly her soul hissed towards the woman. There was something utterly wrong about her and it set everything Kiko believed in off as one word..

    Wrong

Glancing at Maich and Orpheus the young woman bowed slightly to Gina and then followed behind, at a 'relatively' safe distance.

Miach had never thought about Tyria in the same sentence as the words friendly, or kind. Unless it was with a negative. Given today's beginning, it seemed unlikely to change in the coming minutes or so. His smile to Gina was much more reserved than it would have been months ago. His smile to Kiko much warmer.

Following the leader of his Order without a word, Miach wondered what it was this time. chasing after books ? Banishers ? Daemons ? If Knowledge was Power, it was equally true that sometimes Ignorance was Bliss.

    Tyria Primoria| Curator | SL •• (Elegant)

Each of Tyria's steps were even, unyielding, and without the hesitation of someone who should have just gotten out of bed a few hours ago. The door into the Conference Room was only barred by a lock and key, without the modern conveniences of key-card or key-less entry. Inside, the white-board was clean, crisp and clear. The smart-podium went untouched and the projector above the heads of the Mystagogues looks like it hasn't been touched in some time. If ever.

Instead, Tyria waits for everyone to be seated and she takes to the head of the class.

First, a general announcement.” Tyria states to the rest, “Volos has departed on a matter of Guanxi for the order in another Athenaea here in California. He will return when he can.

A beat, then the Curator moves easily to the matter at hand, “You've each been here for sometime now,” Tyria states as general fact. “Some of you have even earned the respect of your peers,” a pointed glance at Kiko. “But, respect is one thing. Understanding, is quite another.” Tyria pauses, letting the pregnant pause and the burgeoning questions raise in the minds of the Mystagogues. “Before you ask the questions you might have; I have one for you. What is the Alae Draconis? What is it to fly? What is the Mysterium?

Orobas is silently cursing as he walks into the museum. It had to be the one day that an road-block made his bus late...

He makes a mental note to double-check how 'accidental' it might have truly been later. For now, he reaches the front desk and Gina.

"Hi Gina, sorry I'm late," The journalist says, adjusting his fedora. "How mad is Dr. Primoria?"
