"If I'm the only familiar face, you're either less social than I am or not paying attention." Quincy shifted half-lidded eyes towards him, then back to the crowd at large. Then, after a moment glanced at him again. "And I'm not the kind of woman who'd take off their wedding ring while moonlighting. I'd make my girlfriend horribly suspicious if I ever forgot it."

Bishop smiled.
"Yes, girlfirends are like that. The family business tends to scare people off most of the time." he answered. "Which is fine by me."
He cast a glance at the entrance area. "But I was wondering about something. Four sisters come to town but only three are seen. Does that mean the town is lawless or does the law rest with the sisters?"

Quincy raised one of her dark eyebrows. "Well, that would depend on the sisters, wouldn't it?"
|
|
|

Bishop nodded in the direction of the newcomers, which had been intercepted by a mage he had not seen before.
"So what do you make out of this merry family then? Any relatives?" he asked in a hushed tone, before closing his eyes, focusing and then pulling two of his spells back onto his pattern. He nestled with the knot of his tie, beneath which his small pendant was sitting on his skin. He kept quiet though and tried to be very discreet.

Quincy tilted her head as Avalon spoke, then hummed. "One of them, maybe. Suit's out."

Bishop looked at the mage handling the newcomers and decided, that he would wait and see. The hierarch and other mages had started to address the convention and Bishop was inclined to listen.
"Looks like the official business has started. I'd like to listen in, since I have not been around for that much time. Care to join or do you have any other place to be?" he said in a hushed tone in order not to disturb anyone.

"No, go ahead. I'll do my own thing."

"Right, I'll see you around, then."
Bishop gave her a polite smile and a salute, before taking a seat, from where he could oversee most of the area.
