Vae pulled the Epopt over to a small table. “Thanks for answering me so quickly earlier, like I said, or at least meant to say is that there is a breach of the Veil present in the Free Councilor Kite, I believe he claimed the title ‘Syndic’. As far as I now it’s your job to protect the veil’s integrity and it’s mine to protect this Consillium. I’ve done as far as I can, but he’s gone beyond my reach, but not yours.”

"What did he do?" Ariadne asks with a moment's hesitation after Vae brings them to a table away from the others.
"Given what you have said I'm thinking its something..unforgivable?" The Warlock emphasizes the last word, something had clearly gone badly.

"Well I sure can't forgive him for what he did." Vae said with conviction. "He was kibitzing on an arrow in house issue. I think he had some sort of issue with me directly. Maybe he heard that I called his rival back into the area." The cop shrugged. "I can give more reason if you want including the obstruction of an investigation that concerned the Consillium as a whole because he didn't know how to wait for a public announcement."
