Waving the poor Animal Control Officer's belt in one hand like a trophy, Peter runs off into the sunset, giggling like a pre-pubescent monkey.
Peter Vacates the Thread.
It was almost comical, the way the Animal Control officer made his double-take, grabbed the waist band of his pants, and ran after the monkey-boy who bounded away.
Somewhere in the hubub, Avalon had already slipped away, into the spaces between memories. Whatever she was looking for, whatever had caught the woman's fancy, was a mystery.
With the Animal Control officer indisposed, Animus is able to find another way out of his predicament. Leaving everyone who was left, befuddled and confused.
