It has been some time since the Granite Watchtower set out to find a totem, but their efforts have finally born fruit. Under the Witch's Moon they have finally come across the location of a spirit reputed to keep track of the flying spirits. They have ventured quite deep into the hisil, and things no longer so cleanly represent the other side. Before them stretches a dank copse of tree spirits, the branches hanging heavy with debris and the ground cluttered with rotted motes of leaf spirits. Whatever lives here, it doesn't seem to mind the stalled decay that hangs heavy.

Firebringer pads along in Urshul, keeping his senses alert. He longed for the mental contact that had been absent so long.

Soon, soon they would share a strong enough bond to support his abilities. Soon they would be a true pack.

The soft pads of the furred Urhan form of Samantha Howe trailed behind the others, her work had generally taken it’s toll on her connection to the pack in the past few months. Considering her time had been spent primarily between curled up on a blanket and in the office there was definitely something redeeming about being on the track with the others.

When a number of them smelled familiar, but still some how distant, likely because of her time not really caring so long as the Herd didn’t find out.

In the dank deeps of the Hisil things tended to make even her have issues, though she kept her eyes moving, anything could be a threat at this point.

A dark and tenebrous form ranges ahead, scouting. Aeneas had donned the near-wolf Urshul form for this hunt. At this point he is more reminiscent of a giant, misshapen, pointer with his snout forward and his posture low to the ground. His teeth are bared in a wordless snarl as he stretches his senses.

"We should figure out what's up with him. Come," Elaine says, gesturing for the most likely 'vanguards' to come with her. She attempts to move quietly, balancing that concern with the desire for haste. She was quite used to sneaking around in the night, however.
