Marcus checks the perimeter of the mowed-appearing area for any clues as to why it seems so manicured in comparison to the rest of the hedge as he searches for a path toward their goal. Glancing at the flower, he wonders if he should be concerned that the others seem to be taking so much interest in the vines and the flower. He worries that they are already letting themselves get distracted from the mission.

Al-Adin nods at Mal's explanation, and then gets really confused when she heads back to the flower anyway.
Marcus seems to not be en.. entra... entrenched? Something E word like that. But Jack and stripes are a little out of it. Must be a 4 legged beast thing. Except Tally wasn't really that entrenched. Huh. Confusing.
Al-Adin shakes his head to clear out the ADD Thoughts, and marches over to stripes. "Come on, flower picking later, crown first." He says, and bodily lifts the tiger and starts dragging him away from the flower.

"Tally, can you get Mal over here, we've got to keep going, or we'll be old people when we finally get the crown."
Jack broke herself away from the plant and moved over towards Marcus. The hare's mind still foggy from the plants effects but she ahd to keep focused on the job.
The hares took a breath trying to focus her senses, the hare slapped her foot against the ground three times each echoing a loud SMACK SMACK SMACK. The glamour ran up body and her large awkard not quite Hare ears twiched as they took in the sounds around her.
She took a moment to listen to the surroundings to make sure they were clear before she grunts.

Between the pulling of the Monkey and the thumping of the Hare, whatever entrancement is left on the Changelings seem to be broken. In turn they all notice that the hedge may be trimmed down, but as soon as it starts going into rough...there isn’t really any paths in sight.

Stripes shakes his head, allowing himself to be pulled to his feet.
"Um, right, sorry," he says, shaking his head.
Whatever the strange flower had done to him was over now. He takes a deep breath and walks away from the flower. That had been strange... but Al's words finally break through. This isn't the time for gardening.
Glamour folds over the tiger's vision, his eyes sparking with an unearthly green glow. His most-used contract flares up with a practiced expenditure of glamour, and the tiger looks out into the thorns.
"The Crown probably isn't still around here, is it?" he guesses, glancing back to the others. "Guess that means looking in the thorns."
Stripes spends 2 glamour, gains Cat Vision for seeing in the dark and the +2 Perception bonus

"Sorry Al, it's just that there was something funny about that flower." Tally tells the Swiftrunner. Glancing towards Al before looking around.
"Looks like we'll have to look fairly hard for a path." Tally muses after listening to Stripes.

"Its ok! Lets keep going!" Al-Adin marches forward, doing his prefered method of finding things: stumbling over them.
The Archer eyes narrowed as she watched Al-Adin march straight into the hedge. No plan, no idea where to look.
Great lets go have a picnic too She grunted and moved up next to Stripes and Marcus. She spoke softly as not to draw attention, her awkward ears twitching at the slightest sound.
"I don't care if he is the prince of thieves or the king of fleas. He is going get us killed " She glanced behind them before looking a head.
She didn't want to be in this hedge any long than they had to. The flowers had put her on edge, she knew they were dangerous yet she acted like an idiot. The winter hare did not appreciate being made a fool of, but what worried her most is why did the plant not attack like back in the Alley way...what had changed.
"We need a plan"

A plan, huh? Not sure what to suggest beyond venturing into the Hedge looking for a path that could lead us to the previous common Hollows. Tally mentally muses as she moves gingerly away from the plant, turning her back to it. "Well, perhaps we should enter into a Pledge for this quest? It seems like the thing to do at this point."
Her gaze sweeps the area opposite of where Al is ranging.

Marcus gives Jack a silent nod of agreement. He didn't like the way the hedge felt... almost as if it were... hungrier than usual.
"A pledge might not be a bad idea, but let's keep it simple."
Looking around, the elemental calls in a favor from his agreement with Dream in order to gain a clue as to which direction the old hollow might be found.
Marcus spends 1 Glamour and 1 Willpower to accomplish bupkis.
