"I'll contact the leader of the envoy's to let them know what happened here. I'll stay on the lookout. Also keep an eye out, vampires don't bleed out so whatever or whoever killed it can still be around." unless they had been lit on fire. But he doubted a vampire on fire would have been dripping with that strange liquid.

"If there were clues, we would have found them. Masquerade is Priority One." Roderick made the quick march up to the car and opened the passenger door. A quick rummaging in his box and he pulls out a flare. On his way back, he taps Julian on the shoulder with it and points to the car. "Start it up, you drive this time. Get out of here, we can't afford to get the car linked to what I'm about to do. I will meet you at the town down the way, the next gas station. We can't waste anymore time or we will end up racing the sun."

When Roderick gets to the wrecked car, he makes his way around to the gas intake and opens it before pausing and taking a look under the wreck, seeing if by chance the tank was ruptured or there was something under the car.

It seems just the front, and the roof, of the car is damaged.

With no other means to set the car off, he opens up the gas cap and starts stuffing it with whatever burnable plant life he can find, stuffing it until it overflowed with hopefully enough stuff to set the gas off. Kneeling next to the car, he grips the shaft of the flare in one hand and the cap in the other, starting deep breathing to calm himself before he caught himself and stopped doing such a pointless action. Lets hope this doesn't set me onto a frenzy. Steeling himself, he broke the cap, igniting the flare. He moved quickly to shove the flare into the mess of burnable substances and once he was sure it was secure, he turned on his heel and took off running as fast as he could into the forest and away from the car.

Roderick didn't know how far away he had to get from the car. But he knew how fast he was going to book it.

Thankfully, there's quite a bit of dried grasses and some small bushes in the ravine that will work well to introduce flame to the gas tank. However, as Roderick ignites the flare he is confronted with an exploding view filled with FIRE

Jullian didn't need long to put two and two together to figure out what the soldier was going to do. He got into the car as fast as he could. but not as fast as he should have been it would seem. He still saw roderick light the flames, his beast shrieked in horror.

Jullian tightened his control around the beast and continued driving. Stopping at the first gas station he saw, just roderick had told him to do and waited there. Keeping an eye out for the soldier and any other potential trouble.

Alrighty, my apologies for being too vague. ONLY Roderick needs to roll for frenzy, as he is lighting and thrusting a flare into a gas tank. Your WP is hereby refunded, Mr. Julian. However, for Roderick, resisting is an extended action, and 2 successes are needed. Thus Roderick gets another roll, and if he succeeds then he is fine. If he fails the second roll, however, then he is gripped by fear frenzy.

Roderick keeps firm control of his sanity and his Beast even as it lashes in his mind in retaliation to the sudden burst of heat and light. Though the additional burst of movement would have been useful, he needed the control to set the brush on fire.

Besides, his Sire would be disappointed if he lost control of his Beast so he is not going to let go of it easily.

That horrid, glaring flame is soon stuffed into the mouth of the gas tank, the plants begining to smolder even as Roderick withdraws his hand. The ex-soldier can tell that soon, the tank will ignite and a ball of fire will engulf the vehicle. It is a good time to get moving. Thankfully, Roderick soon leaves the ravine behind, a row of trees blocking his view of the cars imolation. After about 15 minutes Roderick spots Julian and the car. Sirens sound somewhere from deeper within the town.
