A group of Forsaken slink through the city. They are wearing inconspicuous clothes, and doing their best to blend in among the herd. There is a profound Need to know what has happened since they fled, as well as a requirement for strategic knowledge about where the Pure are, and what territory they have claimed.
Wits+Subterfuge (Primal Urge penalty vs. Humans apply) or Wits+Stealth-1 rolls please.

Firebringer stalks the streets, rage simmering. It shouldn't have been necessary to sneak through this land. They had been able to just lay claim before ... before. Before his entire world had collapsed. One day, this would be theirs again, and the only Anshega in the city would be broken corpses. But in order to ensure that day came, he needed to play his role today.
The herd parts around him, instinctually giving a wide berth as their hindbrain whispers Danger. Hunter. At one time, the effect might have been disconcerting. But that had faded long ago. Now, it was merely a nuisance. He would have to take his cover from elsewhere. Lines of sight. Shadows. Visual patterns and noise. These he knew, and would exploit to the utmost. With any luck, they would provide the advantage the press of humanity could never quite give.

Shapeless baseball cap down low over his face, hands thrust deep into pockets, Aeneas moved silently through the herd. His eyes gleamed, feral and hard, from under the brim of his cap and his movements were perhaps a little too brisk, this time. Perhaps the Irraka is being deliberately provocative; perhaps he doesn't know how he stands out, given his eyes search the streets and the shadows for a sign of his quarry.
For by now, the hunter reckons, the Pure should have laid down the markers of their territory.

Cord in his street clothes and running shoes stays to the high ground, from roof to roof he melts with the city. He makes sure his silhouette stays off the horizon, and that his expert navigation of spaces less traveled by the normal man or beast are his. He watches for the unnatural movement of the herd as they stay away from the dark recesses and alleyways, and investigates those places for signs of the pure.

While Firebringer takes to the shadows, and Cord runs the rooftops, Aeneas struggles against the flow of humanity. The shadows he finds never quite seem deep eough, the street crosings cursedw with honking cars and other strokes of bad luck. Both Firebringer and Cord can see that he is having difficulty, and that this could completely compromise their position.

For a brief moment, he considered simply drifting away, leaving Aeneas to fend for himself. In some ways, it might be the safer course of action, if they could be assured of limiting their losses.
But if Bull Rush had broken, he couldn't even imagine what the Pure must have done to him to achieve it. Leaving another wolf to that simply wasn't acceptable, regardless of circumstances. Firebringer slips into place a few feet behind Aeneas, keeping his voice to a low, menacing growl. "Shape up, or turn back now. I don't need to remind you of the stakes."

Aeneas' ears pricked up and his mouth twisted into a surly scowl of disgust... at himself. Only his eyes flickered, briefly.
"Ah come find ye, then..."
He moved away from the group, turning down another street and slipping away. He tried again, flowing with the herd and stalked around the block before rejoining the group. As always, his eyes searched for signs of the enemy. Guilt at his failure gnawed at him and he glared sullenly from under the brim of his cap.

Aeneas' quick eyes spot the vanishing form of two suspicious looking people as he rounds the corner. He only saw them for am minute.
Cord watches the exchange quietly, from his vantage he mostly watches his companions. Over-watch and protect, someone has to watch the watchers. He smiles as Aeneas "gets" it and proceeds to follow closely, well as close as one can from floors above.

Hackles raised, the Irraka stuck to his plan, merging back with the herd and looping back to join Firebringer. Now that he had his suspicions, he kept his eyes and his ears open. As he drew close to high ranking Cahalith once more, he whispered carefully: "Ah think we got company."
