The thin golden red that Animus seems to follow cannot be seen by anyone, but judging by the force that he travels running along, occasionally looking up or down depending, his eyes fixed on something that only he can see.

Eventually the trail leads over the Tower Bridge and over the river.

Stopping finally in front of a large building, as he runs Animus can see the string beginning to fade before becoming more and more solid before dropping to a point where even the visibility of such a connection could not be seen.

As the group approach the white building the spell seems to sever, leaving the former Hierarch without a line to Triq.

[Animus]

A primal shiver runs through the Thyrsus as he crosses the Tower Bridge. Too many memories there, of what had happened and what must not come to pass. But he never slows, never pauses, even when he reaches what should be the limits of human endurance.

And then the strand fades. Still he runs, even essentially blind. He would not be stopped. Words were already beginning to lose focus. Only one chance left to speak; use it and hope for the best. "They severed the spell." The words are growled, barely intelligible. Something twitches in the back of his mind, but is quickly slapped away. Only one thing mattered.

A hand slips into his pocket, touching a single strand of hair. Flashes of Triquetra: her face; long, wavy brown hair; striking blue eyes. Her scent, mixed with too many kinds of plants to identify individually. The act of writing a name. A desperate snatch at the Supernal, fighting to restore the broken spell. He would not lose her to them again. Not now, not permanently. To those with active mage sight, a wolf's howl tears through the street, lonely and desperate.

Regardless of success or failure, he continues his run, barely avoiding slamming into the nearest door and instead fumbling awkwardly to try to open it.

Leo ran as quickly as he could to keep up with Animus. As the Shaman fumbles with the doorknob Leo decides now would be the best time to renew his sight and armor spells. Nothing would be more disgraceful to a young Arrow then barging into enemy territory only to have his main defense fizzle out a few seconds later. Of coarse he might already be in enemy territory, it's not like people ever have the decency to label it.

The Theurgist watched Animus bungling with the door knob and raised an eyebrow. "Is it locked or something?"

Animus the spell locks and holds still directly in, though it seems a bit testy, like the thread could snap at any time. Either cut or some other way.

“You can Leave.” A voice says from the other side of the door. “This is private property and I will have you arrested.”

Voices. All around him, like insects chattering. Irrelevant, ignore.

The door, standing accross his path, taunting. Obstacle. Destroy.

A lightning-fast flurry of punches and kicks. He doesn't even feel the pain of impact, his psyche caught too deeply in the web of mate, captured, and rescue.

Animus makes short work of the door, throwing it in and in some places so heavily broken...

Beyond the door is a long halway, light memories of blood can be seen on the wall, including a handprint that seems to resonate extra with Animus.

There is no face to the voice that was heard, although the sharp sound of an alarm can be heard deeper within the building, which seems to be underground.
