From the look of it, the very smell of the coffee seemed to have a rejuvenating effect on the libertine. The simple of act of deeply inhaling the rising scent of the black elixir seemed to do half the work of dismissing the lines of fatigue stretched over Kite’s face. As if by magic, Kite seemed to spontaneously becoming aware of his surroundings, as though he was wearing blinders up until this point.
