Tony heard the yelp of the injured wolf, but there was no way he was abandoning his post. It was hard to leave a pup injured, but it was harder to break a tribal vow. They had no idea what was happening with the wolf, so they had no idea if it was just a decoy. Tony's mistrust of the situation wasn't helped by the recollection of the call to aid he received near the old Tur.
Tony stepped into the clearing and moved towards the locus, keeping a wary eye trained for any wolf he didn't recognize. If the pup needed help they could bring him back to Tony for healing, otherwise Hell would freeze over before another Anshega touched a locus claimed by Luna's children.
The group of runners hears another bark of pain, and the smell of blood is now its own loud tracking beacon.

A growl rolls from the hishu form Jeremiah continues to run in. He leans further into the run and lets instinct take hold. The smell of blood urging him forward faster.

Lilly keeps running, trying to aim for a steady pace as Jeremiah takes off. She also tries to keep her eyes out for any good spots to maybe set up an ambush if they can get Yelper free and running to safety. 'This would be so much easier if I actually knew how to plan an ambush'
