The People of Sacramento have escaped, at least some of them. And begun to gather together in their new refuge. Settling into their lives, recovering from the series of traumatic events that befell them as summer began. But they still aren't a true Pack. Just a group of survivors who were forced together by an uncontrollable situation.

Samantha paced within Twilight in the Locus.
It was enough trouble that there were so many of them; but they were a ramshackle ghost of a wish of a pack. She really had no bond to anyone but Elaine,
Jim was odd, not bad but odd, and it wasn’t really for her to decide. And Lilly...Lilly was Elaine’s Sister... well they were all children of Luna one way or another. The Elodoth looked to the heavens a silent prayer on her lips, a prayer of peace, knowledge and clear mind.
She kept her eyes open, others would come, even without a call -- they would come. Even if she was the only one that could feel the strain on the world around her, the wolves needed eachother, it was survival first, and without a pack there would be no survival.

Firebringer paces restlessly.
Some of them called him alpha. He tried to fulfill it, and as long as any gave him that trust, he would see to it he remained worthy of it. But this was no pack. It was nothing like the bond he formed, with wolves who instantly knew each others' thoughts. Who reacted as one, and drove off any threat with a fearsome coordination that few could match.
The Pure would never be forgiven. Even if he had to level the city to reach them, he would have his vengenace. And see to it they were in no shape to take anything away from him again.
But for now ... it was time to find out what sort of tools he had at his disposal.

Kevin wakes from his nap, finding himself in Urhan form, he yawns before siting up. With a shake of his head, the Itheaur takes in his surroundings.
Perception upon Waking
Kevin then gets up upon his paws. Within seconds he is walking over to where Firebringer is pacing. He hadn't felt comfortable or safe sleeping out in the open in Hishu, let alone on this side of the Gauntlet. Kevin flickers an ear towards Sam before turning to look at her. He finds a spot and lies down near the pair. He sneezes and shakes his wolf head before yawning again.

Aeneas tracked back to the locus.
He travelled in Dalu, having made his way across to the Shadow earlier in the evening, with a lumbering gait that was neither fast nor slow. The wolf must hunt. The irraka needed to patrol their tiny sliver of territory. Aeneas had not done much since the battle with the Azlu and this was his first chance to put himself through his paces; and he did not want to display any residual weakness.
The irraka had criss crossed the territory caught in the locus' reach (and as far beyond as he dared). Returning at last, limbs flowing free and blood pumping in his ears, he caught the scent of others. His hand was still on the hilt of his knife when he approached but the look of cautious suspicion was softening.
"Ah see ya," he drawled.

Elaine follows behind Sam, remaining in Hishu as well, as she surveys the area for anything suspicious. She was always so much better able to deal with sudden violent scenarios than anything else, but perhaps today would be different. If it were not, she'd punch it in the face.
She did not move more than a few feet from Sam at any time, and those more observant will notice she looks tense. Maybe she wants to punch the day in the face.

The sound of a wolf padding along could be heard a few seconds after Elaine joined the group. After a few more seconds the white and gray form of Tony's Urhan form came into view. He continued into the clearing and moved over to the assembled wolves.
<<Hey.>> Was all the Ithauer could think to say. He didn't know what the gathering was for, but he was bored, and a little company never hurt.

Steel stretches as he comes up, wandering up to the locus and drawing a deep breath. He doesn't draw the energy from it at the moment, but just the feeling of knowing it's there gives him a sense of comfort.
"Hope you weren't all waiting for me," he jokes as he shows up. "So what's on today's agenda?"
Cord walks towards the clearing quietly, not to be sneaky, but mostly because the echo of any noise always seems amplified so far away from the noise floor provided by a city. He listens as he approaches to the clearing and then steps out with a raised hand and a confident smile "Hello everyone." Waiting for a reaction he stays just inside of the clearing presenting a non-threatening appearance.

Jeremiah had been practicing patience. Or as close as he can get to patience. The patience of someone waiting for revenge would make sense. He sits on the ground watching the area around the clearing. Thinking over what could be done. Maybe.
He wonders if having a Tribe would make this thought train go smoother. Or if it would just color his view of what comes next? Jeremiah looks at those who speak as he comes back to the now.
"Don't know yet. Thinking mostly so far." The Crescent answers to his old pack-mate nearly on reflex.
