The Rage by day, doesn’t have the same effect by night; it is an open parking lot and a large building. There is graffiti on the walls and it just happens to be relatively close to a police station. Considering that there have been more than enough drug sales going on inside it’s walls, it’s surprising that the Police haven’t caught on. But then, why should they?

It is approximately seven pm, and the sun is half way to the horrizon, give the night life of Sacramento another two or so hours and the Rage will be jumping like it normally is. But until then, enjoy the silence.

Hypnos, Kite, Leo Lockheart

The three of you arrive towards the back of the building, there are two large loading dock doors and a small cement porch. No cars are in sight and there is a red light and a camera above the door, which is locked.

Animus, Dash, Gallows, West

The three of you arrive from the front, and are gifted with the daytime view of the fantastic amount of StreetArt that the Rage has accumulated over the years. From where you are standing, the door seems locked, along with the information inside it.

[Leo Lockheart]

Leo lead the way for his group. The Arrow was somewhat disappointing Halo dropped out last minute, but hopefully they could do fine without him for a while. He had to stop for a sec to recast his sight and armor, but otherwise wasted no time in making his way to the rage. There were questions that needed answered, and every day wasted risked another life.

So here they were, at the Rage to talk Hip-Hop and underground cabals with the local Apostate connection. Leo walks up to the back door and knocks. As he waits Leo gives a lazy two finger salute to the security camera. He doesn't bother checking the door knob yet, figuring it would be rude to just barge in.

[Animus]

A locked door. How appropriate. Maybe it was a sign. He wasn't sure why he'd thought any of this would work in the first place, or even what right he had to expect it to. NOne of that truly mattered, though; duty bound him to try.

With a quck glance behind him to be sure the others are following, Animus raps at the door. If it was locked, it was meant to be that way, and breaking in would hardly start a potential meeting on a positive note.

This time, he had come prepared. As he followed Leo towards the door, Kite reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small box. Reaching inside, Kite pulled out a couple small earplugs and fitted them into place, before offering the box to the other two willworkers.


“Just in case Bell answers” he explains.

[Gallows]

Gallows stayed a step or two behind Animus. Part of this was to give himself perspective on anything that the Thyrsus might not see. It always helped to have multiple angles, and he had used his spells to increase the speed of his thoughts--hopefully it would help him notice more. He was also keeping his distance, though, in case things got violent. He didn't want to be standing too close to Animus if the Sentinel had to let loose. Something told him that would be a dangerous place to be.

As Animus knocks, Gallows will wait to see if there is an answer.

“Bell, Jammer’s female companion, is mute” Kite explained to Hypnos. “When trying to get Jammer’s attention, she has been known to take out a whistle and blow really hard on it… deafeningly hard.” He paused for a moment, and seemed to wince at the memory. “Once we get inside though, it should be safe to take them out.”

Motherfucker.

While he might present an air of indifference to the day to day goings-on, once the Acanthus had decided on a course of action... he wasn't entirely thrilled about trivial obstacles. Of course, maybe they were simply early. It seemed like the club would be open, but maybe they didn't open the doors until 8.

West pulled out his phone to look at Yelp, to check the club's published hours.

He took another, longer look at the building itself to check the club's unpublished hours.
