Having introduced himself to the pair Callum studied their reactions, general demeanor, and likely skill in self-defense. It would be much smoother if they were just here to become obedient members of the Domain, rather than to cause trouble. The Deputy was ready for either eventuality.

Hildegarde let a sweet smile of welcome slide across her face. "Hello Jonas," she said lightly. "It is good to see you again." That much was true. The thrilling rush for self-abasement was not present when she hung around him; that respite gave her confidence.
She focussed on the Deputy as he made his approach. Surprise bubbled up across the Lords face before her porcelain mask reasserted itself. The shadowy, oily, thing at the base of her mind expanded while the rational part of her mind quickly came to the assessment that this man was no push-over, despite what her nebulous Beast might wish.
"We have not met," Hildegarde spoke. Her smile was genuine, but her Beast twisted its edge slightly. "Hildegarde. New to the Domain." She paused for a moment, then held out her hand, wondering if this was the way of things.
Callum took the offered hand with grace, and shook it firmly but not in the crushing manner of many. "As I thought. Pleased to meet you Ms Hildegarde...?"
There was a certain formality expected at these events, and while it was well and good that she had shared her first name with him he wanted to know how to address her more formally in the future. He recognised their names from Herlad Villiers' records, so at least he didn't need to run them through an acknowledgement.

"Hildegarde Bingen. Of the Ordo Dracul..." The Lord responded, adding the last a little uncertainly.
"Ah, Ms Bingen. Excellent, I expect we'll see a lot of each other at the Chapter House then." Always good to know your Covenant mates as early as possible. He smiled at her before turning his attention to Jonas ( Regi ).
"And you are Mr Jonas...?" There were some more new arrivals filing in that he'd never met before, and he felt the need to wrap this up so as to move along to the next group. Still, he wanted the man to give a proper accounting of himself first.
He gave the deputy a firm handshake back, tilted his head slightly to the side and gave the other vampire one of his intense looks. The nosferatu had an air of nervousness about him, without feeling afraid. He wanted to dominate the other predator, sure. But as soon as the impulse got properly repressed, the intensity of the mans blue gray eyes remained the same.
-"Mister Jonas Stenman actually."
He even pronounced the name in english. It was generally easier that way
-"It's a pleasure to meet you Deputy McCann. As you might have guessed, I am new to the Domain as well."
He had messed up the titles for Villiers. He was glad that it probably was less of an issue with the Herald than it was with a deputy.
"Ah, Mr Stenman." He nodded and shook the hand, noting the guy's demeanor and eccentricities that indicated he wasn't from around here and was probably a Nosferatu. The vibe was 'jittery'.
"Good to meet you both. If you've got any questions about how things work around the Domain you can always ask me. If you see anything unusual when you're out and about, call me." He looked from one to the other. "You'll forgive me if I don't hang around, but there are lots of new faces tonight."
Cal gave them both a few moments to ask him anything they might wish to. After that he'd be heading back into the crowd.

"Will we need to be presented to the... Prince?" The Lord questioned gently. Uncertainty washed suddenly and briefly, over her features.
That was indeed a good question. It might also be a good time to locate exactly who the Prince was. Jonas gave first Hildegarde, and after that Callum a interested look.
Cal noted their interest and turned to look at the Prince ( Asa ). "It's not a requirement that you be introduced personally to the Prince. His Majesty is speaking with those two kindred over there." He nodded towards the gathering where Chase Ankers and Catherine Keyes were talking with the Prince.
"Generally speaking it's best not to approach unless specifically invited. If the Prince wishes to speak to you just be appropriately respectful." He gave them his best Sifu look. "And no sudden moves." Callum didn't particularly want to have to stake anyone.
