Stripes is glad for the friendly greetings, but tenses at the approach of the hobs.
Astra gets the important question out first, thankfully. Stripes just tenses along with Malcom. Whoever these guys serve, he's not about to just open up and play nice yet.
He does keep his mouth shut, but the growl in his mantle says plenty. Stripes keeps himself positioned, ready to jump if things turn ugly. Given the way today is going, that seems all too likely.

As the hob in charge approaches the group, the stony bird circling Tally and Stripes makes for the nearest tree and is now no longer visible.
"We seek a traitor we do. One of the... disloyal subjects of our mmmaster mmmade off with a page of the sacred text she was sworn to guard she did. We have been ordered to bring both the mmmissing page and the traitor herself back to His Savage Radiance, The Dragon King of Now and Nevermmmore we mmmust."
The masked creature takes a moment to look over its shoulder at the smoke filling the air from the ruins of the Four Seasons before turning its concealed face back to the changelings.
"It appears that you have mmmore immmportant mmmatters to attend to you should. Give us the goyle and the page you will and we shall bother you no mmmore we won't."

Al-Adin looks around for girls, and sees the two in the group. "That sounds kinda...mean. And we aren't letting you take either Tally or Astra, so pick again. Please."
He steps forward to the hobs, providing a physical shield of the 'goyls'.

The birds... Tally realizes upon remembering the image upon the paper and the mention of Dragon King of Now and Nevermore. "It is true we do have bigger things to worry." She states, she's unsure of whether to hand over the injured... goyl and the piece of paper that she memorized or to support the decision of the Hedgebeasts' to flee their master. The irony...
"With of the two do you wish the most? The page or the two Goyls?" She asks the Hobs.

“Dragon King? Like...” Nova looked over at where the Four Seasons was still belching smoke into the air. “Like that?”
She looked at the other Changelings around her, then back at the small hobs. “Do you have to go back? Can’t you just...stay out, wouldn’t it be better?”

Okay, so I lied in the OOC post XD
Stripes growls a bit.
"You guys... you work for the one that did that?" Stripes points to where the smoke is billowing from.
He had friends in the Four Seasons. It was a symbol of the freehold. And these guys come up and start asking things of them? Looking to take something back to the one responsible for this. Even if it's not what they mean, they've picked a bad way to phrase their master's titles...
3 sux to scare these guys off.
"You aren't taking anything, he snarls at the hobs. "Not you, or anyone else working for that dragon."
He spits the last word, his Autumn mantle flaring. Fear is his emotion, and dammit he's at least gonna try and draw it out of these guys!

The hob tilts its masked face as it considers the monkey man's words.
"We only want our mmmaster's property we do. We do not want the eithertallyorastra we mmmustn't."
The rather featureless mask turns toward Tally and Nova as the creature continues.
"Yes, you do it seemmms. They are not separate it isn't. We will return themmm both to the mmmaster we mmmust. There can be no choice there won't"
It seems to pause for a moment as it considers Tally's words more carefully.
"You said two goyles you did."
However, at Stripes outburst, the lead hob appears to lose his nerve and backs away from the changelings with his hands nervously held out in a placating manner.
"We did not mmmean to anger we mmmustn't. You have not seen our mmmaster's property you didn't. We shall seek elsewhere we are and bother you no mmmore we won't"
The hobs continue to cower back toward the shadows from which they had emerged.

"Bye!" Al-Adin calls to the retreating hobgoblins. He turns to Stripes. "You were really really cool and scary there! You are a really good autumn!" He holds his hand up for a high five with a big grin on his face.
Vincent blinks as the scene unfolds. He steps up with Al and Stripes, adding to the wall. After the hobs retreat, he looks towards tally and gives her a questioning look. He wasn't sure if they were finding the correct people to label enemies.

Tally watches them go, sighing slightly and noticing Vincent's look, waits until they're far enough away before she goes onto answer said look, "The injured bird and that piece of paper, plus that healthier one that flew off."
Looking over at Stripes, she asks, "Could you look at this? It's likely of interest to your Court." She offers the folded sheet over to Stripes. Thinking it over, she says, "Perhaps we should all take a look to be sure what's on it won't be forgotten if it were destroyed."
