Dillon's eyes linger for a moment on Velma's entrance, amusement dancing in his hazel eyes while he settles the hunger of the wicked Beast. They linger still, as she beelines for Martha and the man she's speaking with. The amusement diminishes slightly, but Dillon isn't alarmed.

Well, not alarmed enough to fly up to the mezzanine and stake her again, anyway.

He idly wonders if he could make it up there with a jump. That would be hilarious.

It's the Daeva songstress' choice of attire that entertains Dillon the most. There is a certain ethereal quality to the woman's features that lend themselves perfectly to the costume, of course. No denying that. But he rather thinks that she belongs down in Hell as much as any of the rest of them.

She has been such a naughty little thing.

The Reeve chuckles quietly as he silently observes Court, turning his attention from Velma and Martha just enough to not be staring. The sudden and urgent departure of Max Heinz gives him pause for concern, but he ultimately decides that his rightful place remains here. If it were anything regarding the security of Florin or the Domain as a whole, Dillon is confident that the Grand Wyrm would have alerted him. Or Tracy. Or somebody.

He's beginning to think he'll have to barge into someone's conversation to keep from having to twiddle his thumbs all night. Looking around at the prospects, he decides that Asa and Twist are too preoccupied with each other. Besides, Dillon would be hard pressed not to stare at the Archon's... outfit. He still hasn't risked looking below her chin long enough to determine if she's wearing nude colors, or a strategically decorated body stocking...

After two other conversations are considered, Dillon decides that close proximity to Chase or Erich will require him to need another shower tonight.

That leaves Chris and the new gal. Greeting the latter of which is technically a responsibility of the Deputies. So the Reeve decides to wait for Callum to get on board.

With a mental sigh, Dillon heads over to Daniella, Aοleen, another new face, and Ciara. And Chase. You take the bad with the good, sometimes.

Dillon joins this thread, right on the eve of Ciara's departure

Stepping away from the Herald and Velma, Teo surveys Court. He sees the Grand Wyrm disappearing out the door and then Madam Maskyeline. An eyebrow twitches for a second, he wonders if it was the sign of ill omen. Or perhaps they were slipping away to be alone, together... One could never tell. If it was something of importance he was sure he would know soon enough, or Martha would know and let the appropriate people know.

His attention falls to Priscus Wooding and the young woman he was talking to. She was new, at least he guessed. As the monk had been in the city for the better part of nine months he was sure he had not seen her before. A new Dragon perhaps? Or a heathen Crone siren? Turning slightly he continues his survey of Court and sees Ms. Cohen with Passions and Chase in conversation. While he would love to hear that particular conversation he would rather not be a part of it. No doubt there were metaphorical daggers being held behind backs for that one.

Chris walks halfway up the stairs to the Heaven part of Avalon. He hopes Anabella Prieto is following him.

Once there he sees Teodor just walking away from Martha and Velma (!!!).

'Since I'm wearing symbols of Baphomet, I'm not going walk up there in the clouds. But how about you go talk with the man over there, Teodor Raluca ?" Chris nods to the bearded man as a greeting, since he is looking their way.

'I see the Herald is busy for a short moment, but since Mr Raluca and the Herald are both Dragons, I'm sure he'll be happy to introduce you.'

Anabella thanks Mr. Wooding, then proceeds to approach Raluca, still wearing a short dress and the horrors of the divine comedy across her arms and legs.

Winding her way through the room in a manner to provide all present as much of a berth as possible, she ascends to the side of the bearded man, pleasantly free of the sensation of imminent death that others in the room offered. "Teodor Raluca? My name is Anabella Prieto. You are of the Ordo Dracul, yes?"" asks the porteρa with a sweet sort of bluntness. "May we speak?"

Drake arrived, rather later than even he usually is, though he did manage to finagle a suitable costume. It was, in structure, a standard suit, though he had through his own design and the patience of a seamstress (buoyed by some rather aggressive Majesty), created a unique design that worked, if not quite shone as much as he had hoped it would.

The suit pants had managed to be cut in such a way as for the legs to vaguely resemble the gown or drapery an angel might wear. The fabric was a darker grey with dark, irregular spots that could be taken as blood spatter, or the mud of battle. The suit coat, a similar grey, was made to appear as a tunic vest in the front, with metal grommets and a buckle fasten in the front, and a hem to was almost like a belt. The back side of the coat, though, had been styled as broken, bloodied wings, stretching down the rear of the legs of the pants, and out the arms of the coat so that as his arms moved around the span and feathers of the styling almost seemed to bend and flex. He wore it with a bright white shirt underneath, and no tie.

Descending the stairs, Drake decided that he should probably deal with what would quite possibly be the harshest issue he'd confront. His missed meeting with the Heirophant. He did not know exactly how the head of the Acolytes was feeling, but he did not expect the man to be pleased with him. Drake just hoped he didn't get dragged out of Avalon by his ear (or his throat), though he did not expect Mr Wooding to announce to the entire Domain their agreement.

As the wash of Beasts, mostly familiar, hit him, he found it a greater challenge than usual to control himself. Likely directly related to his apprehension over Wooding's ire. As he entered, he cast about, seeking the Heirophant, though he did his best to make the polite acknowledgements to anyone who noticed him.

Father Thomas walks away from his group in heaven and approaches hell, a stoic, determined look on his face. His eyes are locked onto one man, and he's approaching that man with a single minded purpose.

Perhaps it's odd to any who notice. This relative newcomer to the city, making a beeline for the Reeve as if he were the Lawkeeper himself and the Reeve had commited a crime.

The demon inside the Father is not happy to approach one so powerful, but the man of god does not care for the demon's desires tonight.

He doesn't just approach this group, he arrives.

Callum had watched the whole scene unfolding from behind his red contact lenses with no small degree of interest. It was normally his way to head directly into conversation, but as part of working on his first coil there was this theory that one should mix up their usual routines, challenge the beast and the soul with new modes of interaction. Whether it was useful or not would be determined in the times to come, but for a while he watched the court.

Velma Star 's arrival was greeted with a warm smile. He had missed his muse and looked forward to speaking with her again. However first there was some business to attend to. Spotting one of the newcomers speaking with Teodor Raluca , Callum walked over to introduce himself and find out who she was. His black wings and fallen angel costume seemed to fit rather well on this night.

"Evening Brother Teo, and hello there Ms...? I'm Callum McCann, Deputy Reeve. Mind if I join you?" WHile Teo was his superior in the Ordo Dracul this was a Domain event, which placed Callum above them both in the social hierarchy.

    Callum joins this thread.

Chris turns around and sees Drake Drummond. Since they have nothing to talk about, he ignores the man.

He walks past him, and out of Court.

Let's try to wrap Court by the 15th. I know that's super abrupt, but with the influx of new players, opening up an EC would give them a chance to get in and everyone start meeting one another. If you don't mind, let's start winding the conversations down. You could always end with "We can continue this another night..." and pick right back up when the EC is opened, so as not to stifle anything currently developing
