Hopping out of the shower Jeremiah grabs a clean set of clothes and heads down stairs. Grabbing a can of soda he leans against a counter in the kitchen waiting for the others. Uncertainty about how to handle this places in his mind. The new wolf seems to be going about things the right way. She could be used to set a trend. Or he can go about this as he has before. But what is the right way to be an Alpha? The thoughts bounce around as he waits.

Kevin had returned from Tur and had been doing some studying while watching a DVD upon his laptop computer, headphones on. He moves the head phones down as he hears somebody moving around down stairs at which point he leans forward to click the pause button before moving his notes from his lap, putting them on his text book. He gets up off his bed and heads out of his room, he walks down stairs
"Hey Jer. What are you doing up?" Kevin asks as he enters into the kitchen. "Did one of the brothers run into trouble?" He thinks to ask.

Steel comes plodding in, still carrying his soda from when he got the text message to come.
"Kev, Jer," he says, nodding to his packmates. "So what's up?"

Nieves slips back through the Locus in the basement, still in her Dalu form. She concentrates for a moment as her body decreases in size, the muscle mass shrinking like a wet sponge being squeezed dry. Her clothes sag loosely about her petite attractive figure as she shakes herself, getting the kinks out of her joints. Another patrol, another excursion into the Hisil alone. But so much was happening these days, and she didn't have many distractions on the material plane.
The anxiety of Fear that the Locus excreted faded as Nieves walked up the stairway from the basement and into the foyer next to the kitchen. She saw the other Uratha crowded around. She took stock of this in an instant. Nothing unusual about it. "Hey, fellas," she says with a wave. Nieves's moodiness seemed less apparent this week, though it wasn't exactly cheerful either. "Still no sign of any Magath in our territory. I guess that was the only one for now." 'For now' were the key words. The Hisil could change dramatically at any time and the Spirits along with it.

"The brothers have met a wolf who lives on our turf. She's coming here, with them as far as I can tell." Jeremiah smiles at Nieves statement. "I had a bit of trouble understanding her on the phone."

"So that's what the message meant, huh?" Steel asks with a smile.
A new potential packmate. That certainly sounded like it was worth being called back for. Steel looks around at the den, giving it a cursory glance for any signs of debris or otherwise uncleanliness.
"Think we should clean house a bit before she shows?" he asks, his tone only half-joking. "Good first impressions and all that, you know?"

"Fiona, she goes to the university. I met her at Tur tonight, she left before I did. When I was about to leave, I found she had left so I couldn't escort her here to met with Jeremiah." Kevin tells them. "Her deed name is Filidh, Auspice is Cahalith and her tribe is Bone Shadows."

The the hell kind of name was Filidh? thought the Rahu, folding her arms. Nieves twisted her lips, her expression dubious. "Another college student. Must be nice," said Nieves, not allowing herself to be at all impressed. It wasn't like she had things like scholarships and financial aid. Hell, she didn't even have a high school degree and she got along fine without it. Just fine...
Still, the fact that this Fiona was a Bone Shadow was promising. And if the Baines Brothers thought enough of her to send her over she must be worth the trouble. "So does she speak another language or something, Jeremiah?" If she were Latino then Nieves could just translate for them. "And is she coming because she's interested in joining or getting permission to live in our turf?"

A chuckle is Jeremiah's response to Steel's joke. Good thing the Ghost Wolf closes his door. Not that it smells....its just messy.
"Ah more useful information. Thank you. That should make things go smoother." He shakes his head at Nieves question. "No she spoke english...I had a hard time with the accent." The Alpha admits while looking away from the others for a moment. He laughs as he looks at them. "Not one of my strong suits."
Before long, as the Sworn assembled at the den, Marcus arrived as well having led the way from the street close to the university, where he and Victor had come across Fiona.
He stepped inside and quickly assessed who of the pack had gathered, but his attention rested mostly on the Alpha.
"I hope we didn't keep you waiting too long?"
