Sacramento Memorial Lawn, in the Flesh World, sits between two busy streets, barely hemmed off by a line of trees. A buffer zone of green fields gives the illusion of quiet, though really, it's barely a step away from the busy and bustling streets.
In the Hisil, it's much the same, except that instead of a fence, there is a deep, dark trench around it, as if the locals have dug a dividing line. A thin bridge stands, where the pathways in would be, easily noticeable to any Uratha who bothered to look for even a moment.
Getting across might be no easy matter, however. The gates behind those bridges are barred shut, and a good twelve feet high. There's a sense of coldness, and unwelcome about the local Hisil.
But then, this is no pack's turf. The Shadow here isn't tended and cared for, and what will grow, grows.
Sometimes, this means dark, terrible things.

Rawlins bulked up in Dalu is squatting on his haunches in an almost atavistic attitude of curiosity. His eyes flicker to the barred gate and to the trenches carved into the Shadow-earth.

Anthony followed behind the others in Dalu, though it took him a while to shift. He adjusted the duffel bag of rite gear he had slung over his back before commenting.
"Could knock, but we don't exactly have a great reputation among the spirits. I could crumble up the door with a Gift, but then we really won't have a good reputation among the spirits." He briefly thought of using a rite to summon a spirit to scout for them, but decided not to go through what could be a lengthy process of summoning, negotiating, and binding. "Let's take a quick look around the place before doing anything else."
Anthony then peers across the trenches and begins to circle the cemetary.

Brett scanned the scene calmly as he listened to the others' suggestions. "Yeah, let's get a good look around, see what's down in those trenches. But let's not break down the door until we have a reason to. We'll knock, and if we're met with hostility, we'll respond in kind."
Brett looked to the group and looked the, over. "Who's taking point?" Brett was skilled, but he was not the most adept at scouting. Best leave that to those who know.
"Tony, I guess," Rawlins gestured with his head as his fellow prospect headed out on his reconnoitre. "We should follow his lead; stick together as a group. The hisil is wild here; we don't know what we'll find or what to expect." The old guy lifted himself up and made to follow the other Elodoth.
