"Uh... no." The big man looked down, focussing his attention on the smaller man at his side. "Do I look like I'm built for prancing around a ballroom in a tux?" He sighed, the sound billowing through his nose. "But it is the way it is. Can't do much about that." Green tried to gentle his rumbling but found he couldn't affect much of a change so he gave up.
In effort to hide himself, he took to his beer.

"Sometimes you can be suprised with what people can do despite how they are build or how they look. So I'm making it a habit to not assume to much, especially when assuming things can make people angry and most people I talk to are a mite bigger and tougher then little old me." Stephen replied in a slightly nervous tone, hoping that he hadn't offended the really big guy.

"Everyone's different," the giant agreed. Beer he quaffed, trying to take it slow so he could... hide... behind his beverage.

"Seems like it." Stephen was quite satisfied that the big guy hadn't taken any offense and that there weren't any plans to beat him over the head forming in the guy's head. As far as he could see anyway. "So how long have you been in the freehold?" the older man tried to keep a bit of conversation going. "I arived a month or so ago."

"A few months. Halloween. Taken me a while to set myself up. Uh... job wise, like, you know?"
|

"I can come into that. I managed to luck out on that part seeing as Mr. bates hired me as a doctor when I talked to him after I arived here. Do you got a job now?"
|

Green shrugged, or at least, his mighty shoulders rose and fell in an expression of... something. "Construction. Knew some people back east who knew some people, who kinda knew some people out here, like. 'Sides, i don't mind the liftin' and the carryin'." The mountain spoke absently, his interest bouncing from the man by his side to the masquers moving generally about the room.

"You do look like the kind of guy who does a lot of physical activity." Stephen responded. Falling silent for a short while as he drew short on conversational topics. "So, you know of any other type of social gathering thats coming up these days? I only came to this one in the hope to get to know the community a bit more... Quite hard when everybody is wearing a mask and doing their best not to show their identity."

"Um. No. Maybe check at the Four Seasons? They kinda leave notices laying around?" The mountain had to lower his drink while he thought. The effort pained him.

|
A silence developed between the two Lost. It was not an awkward or an uncomfortable one; the pair simply did not speak. Suddenly the big man appeared to notice someone across the room and waved them over. Then he was drifting (if such a word can be applied to a lumbering man-mountain) over to another group at the bar.
