A vet? Well, given that none of the others seem to be one, I guess I am the closest person to one. Tally takes a moment to reflect. "If I can get to it, I should be able to attend to the bird's wounds. I am in possession of a First Aid kit." She answers the question that isn't really directed at her.
Seeing a parent leave along with a pair of kids, she does her best to get a better view of the bird. Off the top of her head, she notices . . .

Bump WakingDream and Vincent

Ion still isn't quite sure what is going on as she watches Tally draw closer to the source of everyone's attention. She glances back to a moment to the Hedge Gate before looking back to the dwindling crowd.
Vincent looks more closely at the bird as he waits for the other Vincent's response.
"I imagine the threat of the bird carrying some manner of disease will be quite enough to get people moving, particularly those with curious children," Vincent reflected to the man beside him. Any particularly grand distraction would prove silly at this stage, and might draw more attention that they actually wanted. If the creature continued to do nothing, interest would naturally fade he guessed.
The sight of a parent or two heading away with their kids reinforced the thought.
The more people left, the easier it would be for Tally to study the creature up close for injuries.
At the mention of diseases, a few other parents started pulling their kids away. But there were a few that lingered, more or less for curiosity sake.
Tallys eyes mulled over the fowl that laid on the ground. It seemed to have been struck in the head and was alive, at least for the moment.
Ion glances to the silent Vincent, then the other Vincent who talks of disease. She cocks her head with confusion over such a statement, but shrugs off trying to make sense of it all. Ion begins to wonder what holds her here, as sure sure as hell did not like birds. While her curiosity over the bird is nonexistent, maybe it is simple attraction to others who have had so much ripped from their lives.
Ion pulls the headphones from her phone, balling up the cord and shoving it back into her pocket. So much for a quick jog...
Ion shifts her weight upon the ball of her heel, turning sharply and quickly. She walks over to the Hedge-Gate, the pace of her steps carrying almost as quick as most people would jog or even run. Once over to the Gate, her eyes shift around the scene looking for anything weird that jumps out. She makes a conscious effort to slow her pace down as she slowly canvases the area.

"It might have flown into something. It's been struck on the head." Tally reports out loud to anyone interested in that kind of thing. "Did anyone throw something hard and heavy at it? Or was it laying here when you guys gathered around?" She asks the crowd.
