Vaeltia was waiting outside the building that hosted her studios. Her white harley was parked off and locked down. She was wearing the white leather Jacket with the flames on the left cuff.
Her hair was loose, just barely beyond her shoulders and she kept looking down towards the open end of the alley. Her eyes were open, waiting for Weavebreaker . The other Obrimos had had the address for long enough, now it was just time to teach a little.

Public Transportation was the way to go for a college student who had only been out in Cali for a month and change. While the bus could not get her exactly there, it got her close enough. Weavebreaker caught sight of Vae, who was hard to miss, as she walked up the sidewalk to her studio. She waited for for Vae to look in her direction to offer a wave of her hand to draw her attention.
"Hey...How are you doing today?"
Weavebreaker was dressed to fend off the chill of the air with jeans, a black shirt, and a hoodie. As she drew closer, the bike caught her attention. After a moment she smirked, nodding her head approvingly and glanced back to Vae.

Vaeltia grinned, the bike was her favourite. “Fine enough, come on up. Do you paint? Wait, I already asked you that, never mind.”
She opened the door and then led the other Obrimos up a few flights of stairs to a long concrete hallway. She opened the second to last door and displayed a room with various paintings or sculpture in walls and corners of the room. With the majority of floorspace clear.
In one corner there was a small table draped in red with a large white pillar candle burning with a three inch flame.
“So this is my place of refuge.” she said with a grin as she shut and locked the door.
Throughout the room there is a trickle of magic.
“So you wanted to learn how to change your aura to not awakened. It’s a good plan, I’d suggest all of us at least learning how to do it.”

"My greatest strength falls within the prima materia. Potentially I can teach you something from that area in return." Weavebreaker nodded as she looked around the place for a moment.
"I do have a idea that I wanted to run by you..."
"Willworkers are just curious by nature. I was considering the potential of putting in place some lures..." She did not quite know exactly how to do what she was thinking, but held the generally concept together. "Like a cloaked spell on a street pole...something in view of a camera. It can be blatant to our sight but would take a lot of scrutiny to be able to find a signature. We can see who gets drawn to it by way of camera." Weavebreaker shrugged for a moment.
"May help us put some faces to banishers or other potential threats..."
"Just a thought," a thought that Weavebreaker wasn't sure if it held potential or no merit what-so-ever.

Vaeltia hung up her coat on one of the ninja star hangers near the door.
“It would be an interesting pull, but you’d be dealing with the range of maintenance to keep the spell active, and there’s nothing saying it would work. Also Cloaked spells, re cloaked, they wouldn’t be easily found. I’d suggest a rote instead, as generally finding the signature is harder.”
The Arrow shrugged.
“Not saying it’s a bad idea, but one that needs perfecting. It might be useful though.” Now the thought was running through her head.
“I’d suggest bringing it up to the others, maybe even to the guardians, they might be able to help just as well. Anyway, this isn’t about that, this is about getting you another layer of defense, right? And I’m willing to learn, I have nothing specific in mind though.”

"Do you know how the prima-counter?" Weavebreaker shifted back to the main purpose of being here. The little things could be left for another time, as today was about learning, and potentially teaching...
|

She thought for a moment.
“I don’t believe so. No, I haven’t.”
It would be a fair enough trade in her own book, but then Weavebreaker was one of her own, an Arrow, even a Foster of the Archangels. If she had asked there was that small chance that Vaeltia would have taught for free.
But an exchange was the type of compromise where everyone won.
“So I’ll teach you how to hide your nature, and you’ll teach me how to kick spells in the face?”
The thought was funny enough.

Weavebreaker shrugged her shoulders softly. "It is a start. Unless you would have a preference for making your pattern, and others of your chosing, invisible to spells. There is a certain benefit into bypassing the works of others instead of breaking them. Really, it is up to you as to what you want to learn first."
Weavebreaker considered them both very useful. She felt the prima-counter tended to be active defense, while the controlled dispellation was more passive, but not always.
"In Savannah..." Weavebreaker paused for a moment as she glanced downwards. "...Well, my Shadow Name is not very imaginative..." She shrugged. "I was usually brought into play when it was believed there was a hostile willworker..."
Weavebreaker looked back to Vae, realizing her openess with her is because she is probably the closest thing to a friend she has found since coming to Sacramento.

“The thing is, Weave, I don’t normally use rotes, and when I do, they don’t usually belong to Prime.”
Her eyes were open, there were times when the lie would still respond, when it was a battle to grasp the fire. That feeling of paradox raining down on her was still at the forefront of her mind.
But sometimes it was simpler to not have to remember the motions or words. Sometimes her Will was just stronger.
“Personally I don’t mind which spell you decide to teach me, I’ll learn them the same. Personally, I don’t use many rotes, both by training and by choice.”
Vaeltia walked further into the room and over to the alter.
“My shadow name isn’t as obvious, it means wanderer, but I might change it soon enough.” She passed a hand over a small box of stick candles before choosing one and tossing it under hand to the Obrimos.
“For as long as you’re fostered by the Archangels, and in good graces, I will let you use this hallow. But I’d suggest taking the time to rent or buy one of the other rooms on the floor. It is studio space.”

Weavebreaker couldn't help but smirk as she caught the stick candle. "That is interesting. I find myself normally using rotes. I can draw greater power through the discipline of a fixed imago and it leaves less room for error. I know my reliance does not grant me as much adaptability and I have some work ahead of me to find balance..." It had always been drilled into her head that she had her talents for a reason and to strengthen her natural talent, but she could not do it at the cost of adaptability.
"Thank you for your offer." Weavebreaker looked around the studio for a moment as she wondered if the G.I. Bill could cover a place like this. Part of her was content with the campus, because it seemed to be fate that put her in the midst of Banishers.
She kept her signature low normally, and after she had learned this trick from Vae, she would become all the more inconspicuous.
