Eleven minutes away by car, or two hours, twenty minutes away walking the Toren and Halo find themselves at the address they have searched for: and what can only be described as a mansion rising out of one of the yuppy areas of Sacramento Suburbia. Of course, to some of the houses on the street it could be described as a house.
But this is the place that “A” supposedly lived. There wasn’t even a for sale sign on the property, funny thing the house market.

As much as Toren like a nice relaxing stroll, Toren felt an indescribable sensation that his time was too valuable to be squandered on moving himself of his own volition. He in turn urged Halo to afford them a taxi or city bus if they found a suitable route. Either way, once outside the mansion Toren keenly observed the facade of the building with the eye of an architect. It wasn't the Gold Rush era mansions, but something built along with the local community during the rise of the middle class in California. Architects often called them McMansions or luxury houses.
"Hrmph," grunted Toren to his companion, Halo. "So this is where that contact 'A' lived, is it?" he asked rhetorically. "I suppose we just go up to the door and knock, yes?"OOC
Halo certainly wasn't opposed to calling a cab, and they were able to get to the place fairly swiftly. Looking around his mouth twitched downwards in distaste. "Yep, this is mansion 'A' alright. I guess it sold pretty quickly?"
He scanned his eyes over the building looking for any sign of magical resonance with his Supernal Vision. "Could have been some sort of meeting place. Or else whoever was using the alias Fred Mathews had expensive tastes."

The house looks normal, but then it also feels different than the houses around it. It seems like there’s a pulse of substance around the place. There’s definitely a magical touch to the place, but it’s hard to say exactly where.
Also there’s this overpowering taste of mint...

He urged Halo forward without looking back, "Come on, man. We can gawk while we walk."
Toren proceeded to stride up the walkway boldly towards the front door. He was not inattentive to his surroundings, though seemed quite confident he could handle whatever it was this place could dish out. It was supposed to be up for sale though the lack of a sale signed concerned him.If he managed to make it to the front door he would look for a doorbell to ring. If none were visible he would simply knock.
Halo grinned at Toren's retreating back. He would never say so but he was perfectly happy for someone else to soak up any magical defences that might be lying around. "Do you taste mint in the air?" It certainly seemed to be pervasive, rather than simply a case of extremely heavily flavoured gum.
The Obrimos' intuition flashed, and he figured there had to be a Hallow here. It would explain why the place felt different. He pressed on towards the door, keeping an eye out for trouble.

As the mages walk towards the house some small things seem to pop, the brilliantly designed wrap around deck, which is totally out of place in the neighborhood, and exactly how private everything seems, even the front yard.
Oddly enough the driveway wraps around to the back of the house as well, and the porch is closed in halfway down, giving the illusion of additional rooms. The steps are worn, but still oddly white, and the front lawn seems manicured, like someone spent more than the average 1-2 hours a week on it.

"Hmm, a keypad," observes the Moros aloud as he reaches the door. Not uncommon for wealthy residences like this. He knocks all the same.
Despite the bad rap these mini-mansions got it still had a great deal of taste compared to the surrounding structures. Oh very well, it was pretty, he couldn't deny it, though he would have made some changes in the overall plan if it were up to him. The neatness and well-maintained grounds distract him however and he probes them with his gaze curiously while he waits for an answer.
"Hmm, yes, I believe I do. Maybe they have mint plants?" he ventured, though couldn't tell one plant from the other.
