Getting to Know You (Open to Ordo Dracul)

*It had been some time since Max had spoken with Callum McCann about the Ordo Dracul; and he had given the other Kindred time to think over his words before inviting him to the Chapter House to discuss things farther. He had called Callum, giving the man an address where he could find the Chapter House. All Max had to do now was wait.

He decided to relax downstairs in the downstairs Lounge, half paying attention to a documentary about the Valley of the Kings on the large HD Tv that set on the wall. He was eager to see if the man took him up on the offer, and if any of the other Dragons stopped by during the conversation. The Chapter House was full of life these nights, it seemed...*

*Callum doesn't have to wait long before his knock is answered. After a few moments, the doors open, and Callum is face to face with what appears to be a turn of the century maid. From the lack of Beast and the gentle rise and fall of her chest, it would be safe to assume the young looking woman who stands before Callum is the Grand Wyrm's Ghoul; or at least a mortal that works for him.

Samantha smiles softly at Callum, dipping her head respectfully.* Mr McCann, I assume? *She asks in a quiet voice, stepping aside to allow the Kindred into the Foyer of the Chapter House.*

*Once Callum was inside, the young Asian woman closes the door and secures the heavy locks. Turning back to the prospective Dragon, Samantha smiles and gently shakes her head.* No, Mr Heinz is expecting you. If you'll follow me, please?

The Ghoul turns softly on her heels, walking the short distance to the Lounge area. Max was already on his way to meet them, having heard the door open and close. Dressed in his usual blue jeans and buttoned shirt, Max nods his greeting to Callum.* Good evening, Mr McCann; I'm glad you could make it. *His tone is light and conversational, the thin Mekhet extending a hand to the other Kindred.*

Chase had just finished with his fencing training regiment upstairs and had discarded his equipment in their proper storage. It was handy that he didn't truly sweat anymore or he would have to clean the padded suit more often. Still, he felt he was approaching a limit on these training sessions. Without a proper teacher he could only perform so well. Still, best not to lose those reflexes he'd already gained.

The Lord came downstairs dressed in his leisure apparel and saw the pair standing in the entryway. He descended the stairs idly and would nod and smile to them if they cared to glance up at his approach. He had met Mr. McCann on a couple occasions and knew of the man's reputation. "Good Evening, Grand Wyrm, Mr. McCann. A pleasure to see you both." He finished with the steps and stood in the foyer proper. "Are we entertaining guests tonight?" he asked Max with a mirthful expression.

[Aileen McFarlane]

Aïleen had started reading the books given to her by Supplicant Villiers, and they were starting to generate questions upon questions. As they were meant to, doubtlessly. Hoping to find answers, the petite Mekhet had come to the Chapterhouse in order to study them more properly in the Order's Private Library, but when she parked in the court, there were already several cars, and she pondered going back to her place. After a short pause, she decided against it, and took her bag, then headed into the Chapterhouse, to find the Grand Wyrm, Chase and Callum standing in the Foyer.

Ah ! Good evening. I hope I'm not intruding ? did she proffer, putting her books in front of her as an explanation to her presence. Callum ?

Tracy walked down the stairs, wearing a pair of sneakers, a pair of black sweats and a red tank top. She had her iPod on, playing some music rather loudly into her ears. It was fairly obvious that she had been making use of the gym not long before. As her Beast riled up at the presence of others, the petite Gangrel stopped in her tracks and turned to face the Kindred that had gathered around the lounge area.

Pulling her headphones out and turning off her music, she offered them all a little wave and a smile. "Well, hello there!" she said to the group, walking over to them. "No one had mentioned we were having a pow wow tonight." The redheaded Savage let out a soft chuckle as she offered them all a little wink.

"Glad to see you decided to pay us visit," said Tracy to her fellow Deputy.

Max matches Callum's grip, his arm falling to his side once the hand shake was complete. "I've been good. Working on my studies and a few... side projects."

He smiles as the other Dragons begin to gather, he figured a new voice in the house would draw some attention. He nods his head in greeting to Chase as he joined the other two men. "Good evening, Mr Ankers. Mr McCann expressed interest in our group, so I invited him to stop by and talk a little more about who we are and what we do here..."

His train of thought is interrupted as there is a noise at the front door; Max looking to Samantha to go let the newest arrival in. The Ghoul bows her head, and leaves the three Kindred to go unlock the front door. After letting Aileen in, Samantha once more closes and secures the front door, remaining there in case anyone else came to visit.

Max gives Aileen a slight smile as she comes in with her reading, nodding his head to her as well. "Not at all Ms McFarlane. As I was just telling Mr Ankers, Mr McCann came by to learn a little more about our Order..."

He let's his words trail off as he feels another Beast draw closer, this one turning his slight smile into an honest grin. He watches Tracy as she came down the stairs, motioning her to join the others. "It certainly has turned into one, Ms Burns."

He then turns back to Callum, his smile now amused more than anythings. "It seems you're in luck, Mr McCann; we're only a few members short of a full meeting. You should be able to find the answer to any of your questions from at least one of us..."

He then patiently waited to see where Callum's interest in the Order lay.
