The voice roused the mountain, who cast about himself for a moment before he found what he was looking for. Initially, he loomed above the tiger; then, in a visible effort, he tried not to loom, not that it did any good, but at least he wasn't glaring.

"Yeah... I guess it was..." Green rumbled, agreeing with the tiger's assessment. "Green. By the way." He jerked his chin, indicating a nod to himself. "You were at Halloween?" A sweat treat vanished whole into the mountain's cave-like maw.

Morgan had quietly followed in behind the new fairest that arrived ahead of her. The only thing noticeable about her entrance was her choice of attire. Wearing black slacks and a black hoodie she hoped would help her bleend in to the shadows at the edge of the room. Keeping the hood up would hopefully help people not notice her face. Of course, entering in such an ensemble, with hood up, meant that people would take note of her entrance to the party. Her nervousness probably didn't help her hopes for keeping a low profile.

She was weary of being here. Her last--well all her visits to Four Seasons had been...eventful. But she didn't want to run the risk of annoying the scary Ice Queen (literally) by not being present. The fear of a confrontation was outweighed by the fear the Winter Queen had instilled into the Beast.

As she passed Huntress, she was paused at the woman's...odd way of speaking. Given her pause, she waved hello to the Lost at the entrance along with a nervous "M-mer-ree Christmas. Heh, its a nice party. Heh." And quickly moved to one of the side walls in the room.

She was at the wall opposite from the buffet so hopefully she wouldn't be noticed by too many people. She had her back to the wall and scanned the room for people she hoped to NOT bump into. She did manage to spot Spartan and hoped he didn't see her. She hoped nobody who was mad at her would notice her. Follow two rules at all times. Rule 1, no booze. Rule 2, report trouble to somebody else. Let them handle it don't you handle it. Got it? Yes. Good, but actually do it like THAT! I got it okay! Yes good! Well--crud I'm arguing with myself. She shook her head and continued to scan the crowd.

She did spot a few friendly Lost she'd met before. But her fear of confronting some people and of getting herself in trouble again kept her back. Which was very difficult given that the buffet across the room looked amazing.

Big Swilla had been doing his usual rounds, keeping an eye on things to make sure no one fucked up his Queen's day. Every time he passed the buffet, his predatory eyes looked upon the feast with an insatiable hunger. However, the Coldscales knew that duty came first, and it was his duty to make sure that Katrin Byeli's ascension to the throne would go smoothly. Speaking of which, as the Winter Queen made her entrance into the Hollow, he turned to look upon her and gave the regal Fairest a respectful bow. Seeing that Katrin was almost instantly attended to by Spartan, Swilla figured that he could focus his attention elsewhere. After all, the big bad croc had learned to respect the King of Summer after they went hunting together, for some asshat by the name of Enzo.

    Good times.

Turning his attention back to the buffet, he finally decided to grab a snack of sorts while he waited. Thus, the Beast managed to get a hold of a turkey leg to nibble on, not bothering to grab a plate. As he dug his razor-sharp teeth into it, he caught a glimpse of someone wearing a black hoodie leaning against the opposite wall, trying to look inconspicuous. Swilla raised an eyebrow, wondering whether this individual was a threat of some sort, or was simply just the antisocial type. Figuring it was best to find out, he headed in that direction and approached the raccoon Beast.

"Hey. Everything alright?" he asked the girl, his tone not particularly accusatory. As he waited for a response, he continued to chew on the turkey leg in his hand.

Morgan actually gave a small squeak as her initial response. Looking up at the man, her instincts started to take over. Ogres always intimidated her, the size difference was an unpleasant reminder of what is was like to be prey. His reptilian features also reminded her of quiet a few things that had tried to eat her in the Jungle. And the fact that he was chewing on a leg of meat was not helping her flight or climb instincts either. Her eyes quickly darted around to check for escape paths and other predators before her mind reasserted control. She hadn't done anything at all, so the large lizardman was probably being polite. She took a deep breath to calm down (mostly) before doing her best ot answer.

"Heh, y-yes everyting is fine. J-just, uh, worried about running into some f-folks here. J-just want to b-be respectful to the monarchs and all that. Heh. D-don't want to be insulting folks again. Er, at all. Nope nope no, don't want to insult anyway at all, heh. S-so just, uh, trying to keep out of trouble, uh be respectful and...uh, heh-heh. Um...it is a n-nice party, yes?" The good thing about being so nervous for the small beast was that it kept her from blushing in embarassment. She may have sounded like a fool but at least she was a fool not in trouble.

Serreth looked up from his conversation with John and Shin, curious to see what the fuss was about. Instantly he saw the regal form of the Winter Queen and for a moment nearly forgot the conversation he was in completely.

It also struck him that he still hadn't seen Harvey. He would ask the Winter Queen once the ceremony quieted down.

    Description

Terri's Mask is that of a petite, cute woman with vibrant red hair that has black streaks throughout. Obviously athletic, her natural demeanour is friendly and she always tends to have a smile on her face.

Her fae mien is akin to a red squirrel. She has a long bushy tail and ear tufts that poke through her hair. The black streaks are actually black feathers the are a part of her mien now,; a part of her noble order.

Terri's powerful Mantle initiates itself as the smell of baking bread but brings with it the feeling of the Harvest, that time to take stock of the coming troubles.

As the Winter Queen entered, Terri turned from the buffet for a second and smiled to Katrin, giving a friendly wave. She then returned to the buffet itself, noting the absence of Harvey and Spartan heading over to join her.

"Yup, I'm Stripes," The tiger introduces himself to the mountain.

He holds out a handshake with a fanged smile on his face. Small talk is starting to become one of the autumn courtier's other favorite activities at these parties.

Jezebel sloped into the room, glancing back and forth at the crowd. Part of her was quite glad the place had already filled up nicely; she found the moments where only a handful of people were present, making small talk to hide the fact they had nothing in common, rather awkward and confusing. The season didn't help either; of all four, Winter was the one the Blightbent least understood. A philosophy of running away and hiding from your problems wasn't really much of a philosophy at all, in her book. It felt more like trying to put a pretty face on cowardice or apathy.

Not that she'd ever say that to the Winter Queen. It wasn't hard to work out who it was likely to be, and once glance at her sent an unpleasent shudder down the Blightbent's spine. Something about the way she held herself reminded her of her Keeper, what little she could remember of him. The poise, the arrogance, the sheer dominating presense.

But, still, she'd come. It was the first coronation since Jezebel had finally taken the Freehold oath, and she felt like she should make an appearance - to mark herself as being part of the community, if nothing else. And while she hadn't especially dressed for the event, as a nod to the season in waiting, Jezebel had left the usual neon highlights out of her hair and outfit, appearing in neat glossy black. Her usual dress style was elaborate enough that no-one could accuse her of not putting the effort in anyway.

"So, did you turn up fashionably late as well?" She said, walking up to Justin, having noticed him hanging around near the entrance. "Or were you waiting for someone in particular?"
