It seemed they were overstaying their welcome. Gallows stood up and reached out to shake Houseboat Tom's hand. "Thank you for your time," he said. He reached into his pocket and fished out a card. "This is my number, in case you come across anything that might be helpful. Is there any way we can contact you?" he asked. "If this area turns out to be dangerous, it would make me feel better to know we had sent you a warning."

A suitably enigmatic answer. And if he'd had any doubt of being able to ask more, Tom's look certainly quashed it. Instead he simply shakes Tom's hand in turn. "It's been a pleasure."

Tom watched the two mages get off his boat with a nod, but he accepted the number.
His eyes never left Animus the whole time.
