The flyer was still hanging in Velma’s hand as she reached the boutique, today out of all days it was open until late so it was the right time to find something fashionable for a good price and to tryout some new pieces and accessories. She looked down the street only to find several other stores were also together and participating in the event.

As the Daeva moved inside she was greeted by the loud clamor of dozens of people chatting and moving around. There was a small buzzing crowd at Krazy Mary’s, every girl seemed to be trying one of the latest accessories or just enjoying some of the stylish cocktails being served around, a few of them were stylishing their hair or getting a retouch to their make-up while receiving some tutorials by more experienced artists, there was even a complimentary wine tasting.

Whether finding the right piece to impress and look good or just having a good time everyone seemed to be enjoying the event, the girls and women near the register subtly flashed the credit card before paying, a symbol of status and means, a way to tell them apart from each other; one by one the few that left the store were carrying a large bag and a larger smile and those that came inside strolled in with the confidence and certainty of exceeded expectations, the hands holding the bags with the previous purchases further down the street.

Velma scanned the entire scene clearly pleased to finally have some time to do some shopping of her own. Slowly she began searching for something that could peak her interest…
